Re: Great Rift Adventure 2: Deepnight Endeavour 2d map

I don't think there is one. I've been searching (we play on Roll20) but I haven't found anything.

Is there a 2D deckplan for Deepnight Endeavour?

My group are approaching the end of Great Rift Adventure 1: Islands in the Rift, so if everything goes as planned we will soon start Great Rift Adventure 2: Deepnight Endeavour which I’m really looking forward to. Anyhow, as always, Mongoose otherwise excellent products show the deckplans in isometr...

Large ships would often jump in, visit a port near the edg...

Re: Roll20 vs Fantasy Ground

Thank you esmdev for your detailed description. Roll20 doesn’t have a ruleset at all for Traveller, just character sheets for several different versions. As far as character sheets with skill rolls, boon/bane, character history, notes etc both Roll20 and FG supports them. The calendar function you d...

Re: Help with calculating cargo lots

Thank you all!

(I calculated the average as average lot size 35 (3.5 x 10) and average number of lots on 1D as 3.5, i.e. 3.5 x 35 = 122.5 tons.)

Help with calculating cargo lots

I need help interpreting the rules on calculating available freight shipment, CRB page 207-208. If I roll 5 after DMs on the Freight Traffic table (p 208), the result is 2D lots . If I was checking for Major Cargo the rules states that “Major Cargo lots are composed of 1D x 10 tons of freight” . Do ...

Re: Roll20 vs Fantasy Ground

In the old days we played over any video or voice chat program and used any of the free digital whiteboards for maps (Google Hangouts had real-time collaborative drawing built in). So maybe the question should be, "What benefit does having the platform support the rules actually give you"? That is ...

Roll20 vs Fantasy Ground

Roll20 vs Fantasy Ground We have been playing Traveller and Pathfinder on Roll20 for the last few years. Roll20 has no support such as rulesets or adventures for Traveller, whereas the support for Pathfinder is more elaborated with very advanced and competent character sheets, rulebooks etc. As a re...

Xeno-Biology. How biological needs can be met by other means than carbon-based chemistry, consuming oxygen and water (i.e. terrestrial). Animal level of course but intelligence spices would be great, known or unknown within the Imperium.

It’s three weeks until our next Traveller session, I hate to disrupt you vacation. Seriously, that would be very nice of you. And if other plans get in the way that’s okay, you already helped me out with the 2D deck plan for Flatlined ( http://forum.mongoosepublishing.com/viewtopic.php?t=1219...

Great Rift Adventure 1: Islands in the Rift 2D Deck Plan

Is there a 2D download for The Perfect Stranger somewhere? Or perhaps someone has already modified a deck plan of a normal Type R and is willing to share it?

I’m running CT Adventure 2: Research Station Gamma and before I convert the robots to MgT2 rules I thought I check to see if somebody has done it already?

0-hr Armada deckplans

I know some people prefer traditional simplistic Traveller deckplans, and some prefer to have them in full colour with interior details and other eye candy. I think that Ryan Wolfe / 0-hr.com make some of the best deckplans I’ve ever seen (http://0-hr.com/). Unfortunately not classical Traveller shi...

Re: TravellerMap.com as a really GOOD resource

What I do not do is share this with my players. I think I could be brave (mature) enough to encourage my players to use TravellerMap, but I don’t like the idea that they roam around in the Traveller Wiki. Sure, most information is harmless but I think there are too many spoilers that they can stumb...

Re: TravellerMap.com as a really GOOD resource

TravellerMap is a fantastic resource and as a referee I use it a lot. It’s very convenient to be able to click on a system, get some details and then follow a link to the wiki page – which is another fantastic resource. What I do not do is share this with my players. I think I could be brave (mature...

Re: Armour Coverage

We use a house rule with hit locations that predates the Traveller Companion and is different in its mechanics. It does however have the same issues for partial armours. I don’t have a table or matrix for all armour types and I do normally not find it necessary. I simply use the description in the C...
