Interesting. I've played a few games with Hawkwood ships - most of which seem to be armed with Accurate, Precise weapons. Nice, once shields are down - it's just that it takes a while to get to that state! Certainly, large amounts of 'ganging-up' seem to be required. Otherwise you'll just tickle you...

Wow. That means your big Multi-Hit 3 or more guns pound through shields in absolutely no time! I've only played a couple of games so far - I used hawkwood against a friend's Decados fleet. I knew that Decados were supposed to be heavy-hitters, but that means they really kick some ass. Generally spea...

ACTA: How Multi-Hit and Burnout work together?

As I understand it, each hit - i.e. successful Attack Die - from a Multi-Hit weapon counts as two hits. If a weapon with that trait also has Burnout, does that mean each successful Attack Die counts as two hits and therefore knocks out two shields if they are in place? Or Does the weapon knock out o...

The Deus Vult campaign I've been running has been deliberitely low-magic as well - and I find that works really well. Even hieromonks, who are trained to combat the supernatural - aren't sure where superstition ends and truth begins. Most of the foes they encounter are human - with all the nefarious...

Interesting: the on-going support for ACTA is cool. And I love the fact there are plenty of different fleets coming out.

I know nothing about the Fading Suns setting, but the Vau sounds cool: I wonder how alien they will be.

A starfield map for ACTA

Title says it all really, but this would be an exceedingly useful product for those wishing create a suitable back-drop for their carefully painted starships.

Stop using your forces of reason on me! I am far to keen to set my peepers on those new fleets. I'm not convinced by the look of The Kurgan, so I want to see what else lies in store.

(Imagine all of this in a petulant child's voice, if it helps :) )

When can we see the new fleets?

I'm eager to catch a glimpse of the new fleets - Church, Vuldrok and so on. Give us a peak - go on, you know you want to! :)

Low-level magic? Middle ages?

That's Deus Vult.

A setting I really recommend. It fits the lethality of Wayfarer's combat rules, making it ideal for any gritty game world. The campaign I'm currently running is the most fun I've had RPing in a good while. :)

I just really hope they appear in some form or another. I like easy-access data-cards. They really speed up play.

And the idea of tracking damage as well was a winner.

I'd like to read Sister Devout myself, but really prefer a hard copy of a book to a PDF.

Still, if nobody is watching that printer at work...

For me, Signs & Portents is a key part of Mongoose's identity. How many other companies offer so much (free) support for their games?

Hmm...have to admit those damn terminators have caused my boys in green a few problems in the past. And a company of landraiders is just plain obscene!
