I glued them in.

Errr, I only see the logo that I've pasted in my precedent post. EDIT: Oh, I've clicked on the refresh button and there it is! http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/header_logos/lonewolf.jpg That looks like an improvement to me. I wasn't too fond of the blood splattered wolfshead logo but it does seem ...

1. Last book I got was #3, months ago. As for the problems being fixed, my books 1 and 3 were replaced, and book 4 was (from what I gather) halted mid-stream because of errors in it. So, does that mean that we can still expect a replacement for Book 4 with the errors? I'm still waiting to find that...

Re: Looking for some Lone Wolf RPG advice...

but reading the description of the weapon in the main rulebook, it kind of seems that allowing the Kai Lord in my game to gain that powerful a weapon so early into the game would tremendously unbalance it; any ideas? Actualy it's not as unbalancing as you think. I persoanly played through the first...

Evade, there's just so many fun things to do (like using mind over matter to make the jars fall off the roof as a noisy distraction :)).

In fact I didn't see it advertised at all here in the UK. I only found out about it over on the (now nonexistent) Myriador forums when I commented that it would be nice if someone would do a Lone Wolf roleplaying game to go with the Fighting Fantasy d20 stuff and someone told me Mongoose did a Lone ...

While the errors in Book 4 aren't game-breaking as section 192 in Book 3 was (section 213 aside, over half the last line is gone) they do stack up (missing equipment, unreadable map) in my view to make Book 4 a bigger disappointment than 3. Well starting with no equipment's pretty harsh if you have...

Okay, so should we check about replacement 4's or simply wait for book 5 instead? When I know what to do I'll be willing to do it (I'm happy waiting to find out for now 'though).

It's good to know that stuff's happening 'though. Better than silence :).

Since the Base Magical Damage of the Shadakine Wytch is exactly the same as that of the Shianti, I'd guess the reasoning behind it is the same as well. :) That, and the fact that the Witch King of Shadaki is a Shianti Sorceror (and all the witches serve under his rule and under his superivion, so h...

Annoyingly we actualy had a thread with an answer to this question on TOTS before it went down :(. I think basicaly it's the Power Surge thing again but since TOTS is down I can't give you a link.

Yes it's irregular. There's an obscure thread somewhere on the boards where people asked this very same question. Joe intentionaly put a little power surge in there. The idea being that the witch suddenly gains access to a new power level but cannot control it very well (letting too much out in one ...

Truth is, there is indeed text getting cut off, and the crosshairs. Is it really so hard to print a book properly without those errors? It is not amusing at all to see yourself as paying for defective goods (imho anyway), especially the payment has already been made in advance. Meekness on the part...

The erroneous character sheet is not a big deal. Mongoose/Matt, any chance we could get a corrected version posted as a .pdf download? I'll see what we can do! While we wait here's a link to the original equipment section for book 4 over on Project Aon :). Now for all I know the Mongoose one may be...

Hey Al, while you're here do you like the new portrait? I'm thinking of adopting it for TOTS when it's back up and working again :). Its a good pic, but very different in tone than the old one - this one is a bit lighter than the other one, and seems happier, the old one was broodier and had a cert...

Miniatures question for those who know

The miniatures announcement only mentions the Call To Arms miniatures being discontinued, but includes the generalisation that Mongoose can't afford to produce miniatures any more (at the moment). Does anybody know if that means they'll be discontinuing other lines (such as the Lone Wolf minis) and ...

Ah, free action means you could do multiple attacks then :). You'd pay endurance for each attack 'though because each attack is a separate casting of the same spell (like the first tier of lightning hand). You'd also only be able to make as many touch attacks as you get attacks (so one for every 5 b...
