Starship troopers was fun and all, and I miss it, but to be honest, there was only so far that the game could go. As long as I get a new military sci fi miniature game at some point in the future, similar to SST, I'll be happy. It would be nice for Mongoose to do a game like AT-43, but not fail, at...

Giving this thread a bump, just to point out how awesome it is.

Eagerly awaiting any updates, as well as better photos of the coverted MI suits and the CHAS models.

I still have a big grudge against MP for taking a perfectly good game and over extending themselves to the point of...axing it? I logged in just to comment on this, I'm glad somebody said it. Matt's a great guy, but I'd be exceptionally wary of purchasing from MP in the future. --Chris http://www.c...

Re: I am no longer with Mongoose

Hi guys, I just wanted to let you know that I have been made redundant from Mongoose today so my time as editor and creator of S&P is over. I have been involved in some way with every issue since conception, having taughtmyself magazine publishing in six weeks back in 2003. Every issue has been a p...

I'm down for the tanks, if only because those who want a more "military" Mobile Infantry force can make use of them, while those who want a more fluff-correct force can leave them out. Also remember, not every warzone is are the flat relatively featureless no man's land we've been shown, and not eve...

Yeah, but I thought it was supposed to aim up on the air... Placing it inside the middle abdomen let you notch it upwards, and the back of the middle abdomen seems to mate firmly well with the rear end. Like it's supposed to, so you can glue it and not have the entire weight of the model being held ...

Quick plasma bug assembly question...

I've got three plasma bugs to get through, and I'm wondering, does the rear end go inside or outside the thorax? Leaving it outside means the cannon can be aimed higher, but leaving it inside seems to be the natural fit for the model. Has anyone had any balance problems with this model? Any addt'l t...

I'm still up for playing - just have a lot going on work-wise right now. Hopefully I'll be able to get in a few games of something (SST, FedCom, FoW) before the BFE version of SST is out. Wow, I was shocked to see this thread was back. I'll be at Brookhurst at 7:00PM to buy some magnetic ba...

I've always wated to play SST minis, but I never got around to it. I play so many other games you see and its hard to keep up with what I got as it is, and the fact no one plays it where I'm at is a big issue... But now a friend of mine and another fellow or two are going to start getting into it i...
