Got an SAS squad today, and the figures are another marked improvement on their predecessors. The only points that reall yneed imporvement further are the eyes and skin tones, but even with that slight caveat, they still look fantastic on the table. I don't know why they insist on painting the eyes...
Ah, yes the Uber Table Project. Wasn't that announced about a year ago? As for entrenchments; I think the last time they were used was the he first gulf war. Didn't Saddam place his tanks behind emplacements? As memory recalls we just downloaded the coordinents to Apaches and Warthogs and viola!, no...
That could really do with a 28mm Kate Beckinsale miniature in it to finish it off :D Sounds like you're in need of shore leave, sailor . Hmm, I wonder if Hasslefree makes one? Here ya go, BuShips: http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b219/jestiegeler/a015dionne.jpg Here's the link: http://...
At the Warhouse in Long Beach but they only got what I and others ordered. They can order whatever you want tho and they still have some wave 2 stuff including wave 1 restock.
Picked up a USMC force recon unit and a Tunguska today. I have to say I am disapointed in the paint jobs on the force recon. Being wave three minis I thought they would be better than wave 1 but they're not. They also have some really bad mold lines
Are they actually supposed to fight in those red skirts? BTW, 324 million women in the PLA? Holy Crap! And they're badasses, too! Great find AM, makes me want to buy a PLA army.
If you have more please post them. I am currently doing research for a mid-east table and would love as many photos as you can provide. BTW, please reduce the size of your photos so we can see the entire image without
scrolling (about 300 pixels is fine).
I have to agree, the Shadow is for recon and sneaky tank hunting. Why else would it have a mast-mounted sight? The Marines need a dedicated transport, either the ECV or a freakin' Bradley. Me, I'm using Dragon Armour Bradleys and fan made unit cards.
To split or not to split, that is the question. Personally I like large, dispersed squads. The USMC, for instance, can have a 24" frontage, although 12" is more realistic. Of course this is only when making an advance in the open. Normally you would advance in cover.
