What I did waaaaay back was to (yep!) use magnets. I attached a very small bit of sheet metal called a glazing point iirc, used to install window glass. I used it as a sort of "hard point" for weapon options. I then glued a very small super magnet to the backside of the flamer. I preassembled the cl...

Gauntlet knows as do others that the large Plasma works great as a truly "adult" model. I'm sure if he gets it he'll house rule that it needs 3x as many nukes to bring it down. As for the Warrior Bug, that would be great to have. I'm thinking of a different strategy though of gaining the frie...

As the librarian would say, Shhh! This is the memorial topic, guys . As my previous post was sort of an Alpha and Omega of my SST projects, here is a walk down memory lane of a bit of my "in between" of SST. Sorry for the quantity but I'm placing "flowers" on the memorial. It's not all of that...

Hence, "I'll see you in a million years"? Wasn't that Jason's sign off?

Not intending to take anything away from the Rebel Colonists, but the figures are from Gangs of Mega City One. They look to be pro-painted, so that and the fact that they were the studio models used in the S&P article makes them unique. :)

Whoever gets them should try to pick up the rebel car also.

I've looked... last week two boxes of the exo-suits went up but shot up from like5$ to 40$ in 24 hours.... a little too pricey for 3 models for me. I am pretty confident I made good copys. Well, as far as references for scratch-making them, you can look in back issues of S&P, although they won't ha...

Sgt. Zim: "MOOOOoooove it, trooper!"

Yeah, I blame everthing on LT . It makes me feel better as I had thought I had killed CTA. You see, I bought my first minis for it the week before the news.

Oh yeah, welcome back LT.

I joined April of 2005, before the game's release. I am a fan of the original novel but recognise that it was the movie in 1997 and the CGI series "Roughnecks: The Starship Trooper Chronicles" that really allowed the game to have a larger audience. While I was waiting for the game's premier, I frequ...

At the risk of sounding like a complete muppet....DUDE those look totally awesome, kudos! :D Please, please, please consider putting together a guide on how you made those... :?: Thanks. I'll give it consideration. :D I made up hundreds of them most likely, in two scales (1/1200 & 1/2400). I had ma...

...and I think was actually used on the Omega prototype (the Leonov in 2010). I wanted to christen one of my Omegas "Leonov". I recognised and also read that the 2010 ship is the grandpappy of the Omega. Because you mentioned the ship, I looked at the photos and it does have two counter-rota...

Holden, they're company/platoon/squad markings. "C41" would be C company, 4th platoon, 1st squad. It's a way to try to organise the minis when all of them are deployed on a table for command use. I wouldn't give up looking for exosuit models though. I'd guess there are still online sources and eBay ...

the impression i get from lorien is that all the old ones know and respect him, but the shadows more than the others (delenn describes the shadows as old when the first ones rose), which is why they always return to z'ha'dum each time they are driven off, as a sign of respect for lorien / his peopl...

The ship was just a form containing Lorien's "center-of-being". He "thought" it into existence in order to carry Sheridan to B5. Later, he discarded it as a butterfly would a cocoon. I'd like to think that when Sheridan gets back to B5, he is told that when the techs got into the ship it was an empt...

Lorien's "ship" was the big ball of light, ie him. He waited after the Vorlons and Shadows passed to take Sheridan, then he left. Dark Angel Yes, but the Vorlons were a younger race and Kosh could appear as any of a dozen "angels". In the end, he was actually something quite different visually. So ...

In case anyone knows: Are both counter-rotating sections of B4 habitable? How to move from one section to the other always escapes me. :? About the Minbari: IMO while they have more bone mass, it doesn't mean they don't get weaker in zero-g. Just not as quickly as humans. And some Minbari like the ...

Those are wire joining thingies for the cannons? Yep. 3M Scotchlok connectors. I'll claim that humbly as my idea, as I've never seen anyone else on the 'net do that. If you think about the closest "sci-fi gun" shape to them, it is the defence grid mounted on Babylon 5. The gun mount that has...

Good lord thats some amazing stuff!!! It would be a blast to play on that board. Thanks Holden. Also, I wanted the TAC fighter and the Slingshot and the Viking an...
