Nope. It isn't consuming anything.

Outside Imperial space, or with the appropriate paperwork, you dont need to pay the 1500 credits of taxes on top of the 500 credits of costs for this.

Therefore, Long Range Supplies. 0.1 dtons, Cr 500 per person per month.

Re: Life Support

Let's list the types of "consumables" used. 1) Food 2) O2 & H2O 3) Toiletries An empty stateroom "consumes" none of those. Ergo, no cost for an empty stateroom. 42 meals for one person (even if "expensive" prepackaged) + air filtration + water filtration + toiletries for 2 weeks MIGHT cost ~$500/per...

A simple rule may be 2 hours*Jn for civilian. 1/2 that for military.

Re: Why is refined fuel so expensive?

Yes agreed. If there is enough traffic (and available unrefined material) any given starport would offer refined fuel. IF there existed a SGG as close as Mars is to Earth AND it was in favourable orbital position it might be economically viable to skim. (at their closest, it's a 1G trip of ~1 day, 1...

That's because most of the material is aimed at supporting the adventures of the typical player character. Very few campaigns deal with characters employed by megacorporations and sector-wide lines or even subsector-wide and interface lines. A couple of subsector-wide lines have been mentioned (Obe...

Re: Skills specialistaion - what is the point?

A question for you. Do you think Traveller character generation is realistic? I do not know how long you served, but allowing for the *best* possible event rolls - e.g. lots of training in spec ops - promotions and skill rolls it would take about 20+ years (5+ terms) to acquire that skill that thro...

Glad to hear it Tay. These type of game aids make it easier for a GM to create and thus makes for better games. That all leads to more popularity for the publisher. In the end, it brings customers into the game.

Re: App for Generating Worlds

This isn't about one person's rights. This is about the relationship between the fan community and the people who decide what the licenses say. I'll put this as politely as possible - you are wrong, your thinking is highly flawed, and your attitude is even more self-centered than what you claim the...

Folks, read the part of the license that governs software... the answer is "NO" to software. Writing up the Excel spreadsheet, automating it or whatever falls under "software" As for who asked? could be Mongoose, could be Marc Miller (directly or through Mongoose). Irrelevant. A license (that one h...

Re: App for Generating Worlds

The Basic generator part now works. Just going through and checking the output is all correct. Once I am happy with the output, I will finish off the Save feature to include the necessary info. Once that is done, I will add the option to insert or import a UWP and generate the additional info from ...

Re: Traveller 5th Edition

Actually, our postal service demands 15,90 Euro for a parcel of up to 2 kg / worldwide and only 8,90 Euro within the EU. So, instead of sending the parcels individually from the USA, the smart thing would be to send all parcels for customers in the EU as a single package to a distributor within the...
