Re: Bedlam in Blackcliffe

I read that info box and it is a good addition. But someone has to want to load the preview first to then read that and the other text.

So most certainly add/change the dtrpg text.

And maybe a brief back cover splurdge?

Re: Bedlam in Blackcliffe

I somehow missed this until now....not sure how. So $2.50 equates to £2.05 currently. That's not an unreasonable amount but with the current descriptive text and preview on DTRPG I would be hesitant to buy it. Here is why: From the description and preview this small town sounds like it is part of a ...

Re: Free Gift for Legend Forumites

Always happy to help! :) I've not had time to do more than skim through the file but I've been missing my gaming by VoiP with overseas friends recently so might arrange something soon. It was RPGGeek I put it on. I'll edit the extra info to say it's going to be on DriveThru rather than here. Though ...

Re: Free Gift for Legend Forumites

If you want it actually hosted on RPG Geek then I can upload the file there. That way it's readily available and on a decent server that won't buckle under load.

Re: Free Gift for Legend Forumites

That's better, that I can see and download :) Can I add this to the RPG Geek database? If so where should I say it is downloadable from? I have browsed through it and it looks cool. The 2 pages open content licence at the back is a bit mucked up, with lots of line breaks where there shouldn't be...b...

Re: Does Mongoose have any plans for Legend?

Well folks, it's been a while since I contributed to, and in fact, visited this forum. Its good to be back. Speaking of which, I am also back to work on a Legend product which has languished in a forgotten folder of my Mac for quite sometime! I will also be releasing via Drivethru RPG, a short adve...

Re: Hero Points / Improvement Rolls ratio?

A good time to hand them out is as a reward for truly embodying their character and doing some awesome roleplay. If, for example, a character follows his nature despite the fact it's probably a stupid thing to do I'd give a Hero Point. If they do something heroic I'd give one too. Chances are they'l...

Re: How to handle high level of parry?

Look at page 45 of the core rulebook. " Opposed Skills Over 100% During opposed tests, whichever participant has the highest mastered skill subtracts 100% from it and uses the remainder as a penalty to everyone in the contest. Thus the most skilled participant has a skill of 100% and everyone else i...

Re: Inhabitants of the Dark: Savage Drow facelift!

Hey Anthony! Just thought you'd like to know that my "Cthanta Claus" (Secret Santa on RPG Geek) got me the softcover version of this for christmas! Havn't read it yet but have browsed. On first inspection it looks good so well done...at some point I might actually get around to running SGB for my gr...

New look forums

I have to say, I hate the new look for the forums.

Can we have the option to use the old style please!?

Or at least be able to change things around a bit - it's far too anaemic in look with the 90% white and a splash of blue. I at least want to make the surround background a bit darker.

A discussion panel with RPG designers

At the weekend I ran a Google+ panel as part of RPGGeek's VirtuaCon. It was titled: "Balancing being an (RPG) designer and and still playing a variety of games." The designers were: Simon Phipps (soltakss) Alex Greene (alex_green) John Harper (Blades in the Dark & Lady Blackbird) Grahame Bottley (Ma...

(and one day I'll get Legend: Ancient Stones in to book form....! ) I hope you do ... :) My RPGgeek play by forum game is 99.99999999999999% finished. I quite literally just have to write a few GM summation posts detailing them travelling back to their starting point and telling the Elder and Wisem...
