^ Its usually 4 years per term. 6 terms is 24 years of a career, add to the base age of 18 means a character of that many terms would be 42 years old.

Darrians pre-Maghiz would have had low AI, non-self aware robots (and quite probably natural Darrian looking ones too) in nearly all facets of life working alongside Darrians depending on the planet, but the Maghiz would have fried those 'bots. Now they'd just have the occasional high autonomous rob...

Traveller has that at TL 9. I chose the bottom option as it gives you more freedom, plus having a forum is a really good way to keep track on what members thoughts are regarding certain issues.

I would at least join the forum if you go with this plan.

My GM would regularly just start rolling dice infront of us aswell, for no reason, but we of course didnt know that, which would make everyone call for Spot and Listen checks or everyone started to draw their swords :lol:

I would just keep the test as Mechanic. Vacc-Suit skill I generally keep for how well versed chars are with armour suits and never use checks for it.

Could someone make a comparison between kiloliter and dton?

Wow, just reading this and I realise Ki, my character in Traders of Gaths XII is technically upper-middle class (Soc 9). Looks like he should go for the long floppy hair and try to get a series or guest-spot on Dave, perhaps doing stand-up, being on a comedy quiz-show, or doing an adventure trek doc...

When the Fifth Frontier War hits, my Darrian crew are due to be round the Provence Sector around Lighoz, which I believe is in the Vargr's Dzarrgh Federate space. Not sure how the Vargr will take a drifting Imperial-built battleship with a Darrian crew at such a time of outbreaking war though :lol: ...

In that case you'd have to build the ship yourself. Some guidelines are given for them (ie the ship creation chapter tells what is roughly in the TL 16 ships found so far). In my games we have the effect of all to-hit rolls add to the damage made, so certain better hits can get very fatal very quickly - armour is very important in my group. If theres a chance of trouble, most run to the armoury and get a Vacc-Suit of some sort before venturing :mrgreen:
