Sorry, my bad.

Now, about the matter at hand. I agree that there's no such cap. The table on the 2nd ed rulebook's p.10 (Ability modifiers) suggests there's an infinite stat level you can go to.

It's not clearly forbidden but is it worth the effort? You might want to recall this discussion ("Beyond the 20th level" - sorry, have some problems with pasting the url at the moment).

First and foremost: I don't know the adventure. 1: The captaing and some of ordinary sailors are PCs. They know it all very well, cause they were enlisted by the same man and given the same task: verify their employer's suspicion about some other member of the crew. The problem is that the quarterma...

Paladyn, you've got one more comment there now.

Perhaps instead of translating the entire text for English speakers on this board you could just list your conclussions here. This would do it, I believe.

I was absolutely sure is it on the black and white picture. If it's not I'm out of ideas :)

Makes sense, if it is his Clan's symbol, than when he becomes King, he replaces the center disk with that of the lion (his new "clan" as King). Don't know if it is but look at it this way. Conan was a warrior and a thief and at least so long as he remained one he would probably avoid wearing anythi...

Conan's necklace showing a lion on the centermost plate is pretty easy to explain. A lion is simply Conan's royal symbol. It's origin is revealed by Lin Carter in Conan the Liberator. He says that the lion is Conan's own idea relating to his time as a commander of the Lion Regiment in king Numedides...

It's only the sixth time that blood is going to spill on the sand on my display but I prefer the Roman-vs-Roman part actually. The visual side of gladiatorial combats is simply too overdrawn for me.

I can wait for the uprising continued.

Question, though: If/when the barbarian does become literate, how do you handle allowing him to read and write? Do you just mark the languages he can read and write? You you make him "pay" for it with skill points, buying a Read/Write language skill (so, there would be two for each language: 1 for ...

I make no assumption on this topic. While playing a barbarian for example, I see no reason for him being literate. He might become this in the course of his adventures but it shall not be easy. On the other hand I've got this civilized merchant who just has to know his way around with written langua...

The remarks below are entirely outside of the adventures you mentioned, just some thoughts to add to the pot. 3. Winter. Famine. A moose hit with an arrow. Arduous pursuit (tracking, no visual). A bear or a wolf pack. Recurring moose (the same one)? 4. Hunting bows and spears are weapons, too. Hunt ...

Kind of what I'm dreaming of  I'd gladly read actual-play reports if you ever write some.

By the way, do you accept suggestions (I don't know who's doing the brainstorming)?
