Re: Prime Directive...
Jean, I'd like to discuss an idea I have, that I think ADB must know about and at least tacitly approve before I go ahead with it - could you please drop me a note off-forum at editor@freelancetraveller.com?

[Freelance Traveller] June/July instead of June
When I say I have too much hands on my time, I mean it. With a vengeance. I've barely started putting together what should have been the June issue, and we're half-done already. So, I'll grab a few more articles, and give myself another two weeks of time, and make this a combined June/July issue. No...

[Freelance Traveller] Mail Server Problems
There is a problem with the Freelance Traveller mail servers; I suspect they've implemented the new verification that was screwing up Yahoo!, and it's screwing up both inbound and outbound with the hosting company. If you attempt to send to Freelance Traveller (anything @freelancetraveller.com) and ...

Re: K'Kree, Virushi, & Hivers oh my
Ships built specifically for the Virushi are probably very rare, though you have to wonder how they get into most of the Type S variants, never mind the Donosev. I would guess that Virushi aren't generally found in 'stock' human-proportioned ships, except in extremis , and then it's most likely in ...

Re: Space "Gypsies"
After reading the thread on manufacturing ship, I got to thinking about a ship board society, say like Battlestar Galactica, but operating in the OTU. Lets say we have a fleet of civilian ships with some military escort traveling through space, each ship has a minimal jump 2 capacity, and they mane...

"For about a year, now, it seems, neither my FLGS (The Compleat Strategist, NYC) nor their distributor has been getting new Traveller stuff from Mongoose." That's so strange. Yay!, especially if it includes the ones - almost a dozen, IIRC - that I haven't gotten yet because I've been waiting for the hardcopy (Bits & Mortar, remember?)!msprange wrote:Hardcopies of Traveller book will be flowing freely by Summer this year, along with a few new surprises

Re: No hardcopy of new MGT stuff?
Still looking, but this is the topic that discussed it. You even took part. http://forum.mongoosepublishing.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=54657 The precis was that Mongoose was releasing PDF first, and only releasing hardcopy if the PDF sales indicated enough interest to justify a run. Ah. I'd found it, ...

No hardcopy of new MGT stuff?
For about a year, now, it seems, neither my FLGS (The Compleat Strategist, NYC) nor their distributor has been getting new Traveller stuff from Mongoose. This is a Bad Thing, as it means that Matt et alia are not getting their share of my money, and I am not getting my Traveller Stuff. I would very ...

Re: Easily creating individual NPC / PC portraits
Actually, you don't need EveOnline if you have The Sims 2 or The Sims 3 already; you can use Create-a-Sim. If you look at the Freelance Traveller article on Shuchithra, the picture is of a Sim. It's a small pic because at the time, I didn't know how to get higher-res than that; now I can.
