http://traveller.wikia.com/wiki/Antares_%28system%29 An interesting pick. Long insystem flight time with a 2g or 3g drive. Need to use extra space for more fuel, what does the system have worth the extra time? How did it become the capital of the sector? I am willing to give it a try, free trader / ...

I like your plans, they are not at all like the simple ones I do. It is nice to see someone go the extra step and think outside the box.

In CT High Guard, one weapon bay could be installed per 1,000 tons of hull. You allso had to pay 10,000 Cr per ton of bay size on top of the weapons cost.

Sounds good to me. Unless it is a one off game. I -allways- make my players RP geting their ship. It can take anywhere from 1 to 5+ gameing session before they even make their first outsystem jump depending on what is going on insystem and if it will be their home base or not.

On ships shares being a % where the Mcr value is not fixed. The biger a ship players want, the more their monthy overhead will be. How do they plan to make money? I found in many games, that if the players had the option of a "free" scout service ship vs haveing to come up with the money to cover th...

Nice ships  Could you do a 100dTon cargo/maildrum, packetship. Useing a converted TL 14 surplus scout hull ( bonded superdense armor ). With 1 or 2 weapons and 2 stateroms for the Pilot/Astragator and Eng/Gunner. Dump the air/raft and expand it's bay to 5 dTons, to hold a maildrum or a standar...

The new Scout deckplan is -not- off by 30-40 dTons....... A a dTon here and there maybe, if you take into consideration that the engineering room most like has a height of 4.5m or more. The back of a wedge shaped scout ship is 8m or more tall. Hull armor, landing grear, fittings, most of the fuel pu...

For what it might be worth, the classic wedge shape of the Type S Scout makes it a VERY hard ship to accurately create a deckplan for. The hull slopes in two directions creating naturally wedge shaped decks. The front 20% of the ship is less than 3m tall and the back 20% of the ship is 3 levels tal...

When I draw deck plans, I tend to put staterooms around a open lounge / galley area. In order to get rid of as many space wasteing hallways as I can. People can hide in there staterooms if the want privacy. Security is allso a big part of where I stick the statrooms. I try and segregate the passenge...

Well the Bridge and crew sections seem ok, Air/Raft bay is to small, Engineering seem a bit small ( but it could have more headroom than the liveing spaces ), cargo section is -way- to big and it looks like alot of the fuel is not show as it is above and below the deck plans :?:

Your right, on a closer look it is the old CT 1/1000 of the cash price of the ship per year. Just changed to monthly instead, makeing it 1/12000 of the cash price of the ship per month.

Updated Maintenance costs?

I see from the new preview, that monthy maintenance cost is no longer a flat 100cr per ton of ship.

Nor does it seem to be a simple % of ship cost.

So what is a ship monthy maintence cost baised on now and has the annual 2 week year overhaul been put back into the mix?
