Re: VAS 2 Update

I have all the Auxillary cruisers and merchant raiders listed those are different from oilers and tankers and Freighters.
I believe I found about 10 different ones for Japan.
All the ones I could find for Germany and others are listed and have there own stats to be used in the game.

Re: VAS 2 Update

To clarify When Im saying OOB Im talking about ship names in classes. to help with listing for ship names for fleets. Now this is different than ship sheets for players to have ships stated out. OOB: Class Andrea Doria Andrea Doria Caio Duilio But I figure armored cruisers, LSTs, coastal ships are g...

Are you looking for more in your fleet list than just warships? What I mean by this is Im thinking for fl...

Re: Flights = how many?

That stuff has some mistakes like wrong crew numbers and such on some ships. Which some may be from the book but most was given to me by someone else. Since Im using the VAS II rules for gaming and play testing I never went back to make corrections on the old stuff. When we are talking 100s of ships...

Re: Advice, scenario & ships for casual play

The Med with Italians vs British. Ships are both early war types. Very little carrier action compared to the Pacific. Planes can be used from British carrier and from land for the Italians but not necesary. I play ths area the most myself and you can do what ifs such as the leaders were willing to r...

Re: Noble Armada End of Line Sale

Yes Victory at Sea and the soon to be I hope ACW Ironclads are both ACTA. Hopefully the sci fi fans can check out the historical side of ACTA for it is well done and the ships coming out look fantanstic. Its also not tied to a license so should be around for a long time. I myself would love to see a...

Re: Aircraft carriers and planes

The catch to carriers is the farther they are from the enemy the less your planes can do since it takes time to return then reload and then fly to there quarry again.

Re: It's been a while...

The problem is getting pictures and such for the ships to get what you want for design. Its easy to say this gun gets added or a turret gets moved but finding art work of this is another matter. Which makes it hard to do what you want and I understand your points . Also very few if any company makes...

Re: VaS: Firing Arcs & Template

I just use a template against the base from any side to make it easy, but I always measure firing from the bridge. This seems to make it easy for the players as its easy to reconize.
