Re: [GK Games] More Updates!

So I downloaded all the updates for the material I had previously bought and it went well with the exception of this file: SS4_Sequoyah_OGL.pdf Batch down load and individual down load both had corrupt copies and were unreadable. Odd. I will see what I can do but things like this are usually a DTRP...

Re: Need Background for a Traveller Setting?

2000AD named city blocks after celebrities of the day (at least in the Judge Dredd comic strip they did).

Re: Contacts and Allies over interstellar distances

Not at all. If you have a contact or an ally you can call on them to help you out - that is the whole point. If you want some superb ideas I can recommend buying Gamemastering by Brian Jamison or you can even get a free copy here: http://www.gamemastering.info/ It is a superb reference for fleshing...

Lasers on contemporary aircraft

I never thought I'd see the day when contemporary aircraft were equipped with laser weapons. It is getting closer, but it is not quite here yet.

Re: 2300AD: Atlas of the French Arm

I am waiting for the Traveller ruleset to come out in hardback before investing in this.. can't really play any of it without the base rules. My only other rules are Megatraveller! Cant wait! At least it would give you something to read, beforehand. Do you have the 2300AD rulebook or other books as...

2300AD: Alien Races

A few questions about the 2300AD Rule book. * I am OK with uplifted Dolphins but what is a Neo-Fin? * On Page 109 there is a picture of the various races. There is no caption to state which is which. I have some idea about them but would really appreciate if someone could state which figure is which...

Re: 2300AD: Atlas of the French Arm

Good news! My copy of AotFA arrived this week so I've bought it at my FLGS. Observations: Hard back, matt and gloss cover, contents but no index or glossary. art is better, 240 glossy pages. This book is built to be used heavily and last a long time. And it is gorgeous. I've had a quick look through...

Re: Multiple Missile Salvoes Arriving Simultaneously

When that truck has finished launching its 4 missiles, it can't contribute anything else to an ongoing battle. It is relatively small and unlikely to be targeted by the enemy. So people are writing that a large warship can launch 1000's of missiles. Once those missiles are launched. can that ship ma...

Re: [[[Playtest Focus]]] Last Chance for High Guard

Still reading High Guard but there are two PDF things I noted:- 1. First page “Contents section” greyed out. 2. There are no “bookmarks” for the PDF – they would be useful for faster navigation of the PDF. Will carry on reading :) INTRODUCTION P2 - “Abusing the ship's locker”. Shouldn't this be in t...

Re: How many Crew for Smelters

Only if we do not consider economy. Freight is cheap. Comparative advantages makes everyone better off with trade. Autarky, like in North Korea, leads to poverty. Well Capitalism is struggling too. At one end of the spectrum you've got all those Billionaires. At the other end you've got people work...

That won't break the bank. Are you still planning to print one book a month (eventually)?

How much will that be in (UK) Pounds?
