Re: If you could change the Vargr, how would you?

I've toyed with the idea of the Droyne/Ancients visiting in historic/prehistoric times and that our image of the devil as winged and scaley comes from them

Re: Future of 2000AD Gaming

Do you mean pre-painted plastic minatures (like the modern Battlefield Evolution figures)?

For someone like me who isn't really into the painting scene this would be a bonus

Re: Call to Arms: Noble Armada--Clarifications?

By all means roll burn out or slow weapons together. Don't roll non-burnout ones together. Now this leads me to ask a question: Slow weapons ignore shields, no problem there I've taken it that a burn-out weapon that hits an active shield takes down the shield but doesn't cause a hit to the ship its...

Trillion Credit Dynasty

Just curious (and lazy, having read neither TCS nor Dynasty yet), is there a straghtforward way of concerting a Dynasty's military capability into a budget for TCS?

Re: After Action Report: Noble Armada

In retrospect the best tactic for the stealths would have been to close as quickly (All Power to Engines) and have two or three of them try to swamp the Hawkwood destroyer with boarders. But it was a good and fun learning experience Foxphoenix, it never crossed my mind to photo the battle, will do s...

After Action Report: Noble Armada

I got into Call to Arms: Noble Armada last year. I saw painting up the figures, learning the rules and fighting some battles as my X-factor project (something to do while my wife watched X factor on Saturday night). To my surprise I found I enjoyed painting the models (something I loathed as a kid) ...

Movement: Noble Armada

Just wondering if we've read the rule book wrong: The book states: When nominated to move, every ship must be moved a distance in inches between its Speed score and half this amount. All movement must be in a straight line forward. I've taken this to mean that ships must move at least half their mov...

I'd REALLY prefer my war in a box to be prepainted like the Battlefield Evo packs

I always go with the 13th month coinciding with annual maintenance, no payment, no earning capacity

Re: Noble Armada: Multihit

And just to follow up:

weapon is multihit 2, target has one active shield

1 attack die succesfullt hits

does the single shield stod the attack dice (and thus both hits) or just 1 of the 2 hits from the multihit special ability?

Thanks in advance

Re: Official / Unofficial Chthonian Stars for Mongoose Trave

Funny you should mention it, but I was working on a Savage Worlds / Realms of Cthulhu conversion for Chthonian Stars . I was hoping to finish it after The Void came out so I could take full advantage of the Creative Commons license. However, I fear that this setting is going to go all vaporware on ...

Noble Armada: Multihit

Am I doing this right?

A weapon with multihit 2 successfully hits, shields all are down so no worries there.

As it's mulithit 2 do I then roll 2 dice to see if each hit is a bulkhead/solid/critical hit?

Thanks

I'd drop the use of power points and have some form of backlash (risk of fatigue/wounds) instead
