Re: After Action Report: Noble Armada

Assassination The Royal Navy are under pressure. Although they have won most of the battles they have taken losses (including an entire fleet in the last engagement). And now a new enemy, the Vuldrok have entered the war. They decide to send a delegation to Covenant to ask for Church aid against the...

Noble Armada: Sequence

This came out of a recent battle. During the moement phase a badly damaged Vuldrok light frigate makes a sucesful grapple on a Hawkwood Sawfly command frigate. In the subsequent fire phase the light frigate is reduced to 0 damage and after rolling is Running Adrift. Can the boarding action still tak...

Noble Armada: Vuldrok

Just looking over the Vuldrok before throwing them at a mainly Hawkwood force. They are generally pretty fast ships Is there any reason not to use All Power to Engines (unless you really need to use another special action (Prepare to Grapple being the obvious one for a Vuldrok force). Normally this ...

Re: Battle report: Hawkwood vs. Hazat

Interesting report to read. I found that once you started adding terrain and more ships things can get more mixed up. That said once one side gets the upper hand it's hard to reverse.

regarding the table size I generally use centimetres instead of inches to make better use of space.

League and Empire fleets are both on their way, Symbiotes will follow, and we have already begin talking space stations with Holistic.

Re: Is The K'kree Navy A Threat - I Think Not!

S&P also has a K'kree article. Could you point out which one? I'd like to read it It is called Destiny: Within the Two Thousand Worlds by By William H Keith Jr in issue 88. Thanks Read it and realised it was a reprint from Classic JTAS :) My take on the K'kree threat? They grabbed a big empire figh...

Then you have a month off paying the mortgage while the ship undergoes annual maintenance

Re: After Action Report: Noble Armada

Enter the Vuldrok The next scenario was planned as both an immediate follow up to the last battle and another on the back foot engagement. Initial forces were easy, they were based on the forces left at the end of the previous engagement. Soviet “Don” Reaper, no damage 120 points Nightwing, down to ...

Re: After Action Report: Noble Armada

Thanks for the feedback, locarno24. On reflection I still think that using the raiders to attack the scouts is a reasonable idea (even though it didn't work out too well this time). Other than that they don't seem too useful, the ability to interupt the turn sequence seems cool but with only 2 troop...

Re: 17th Century Pirates anyone?

Personally i'd stick to Savage Worlds Pirates (as others have mentioned). That said, it sounds like it could be fun and some people would like it. Might be interesting to pick a low tech Marches World with a lot of water as a setting. That said I'd much rather see Droyne, K'kree and Hivers done (and...
