I'm not entirely sure what the difference between "Hard SF" and "Transhumanism" is supposed to be? I guess there is a difference between a full-blown transhumanist future (including AIs and mind uploading) and a "low-SF" approach which is basically an extrapolation of the tecnologies currently in e...

I had voted for Hard SF - but that is easily modified from vanilla Traveller. Victorian SF/Steampunk, on the other hand...

The thing that appeals to me is that in 1105 everythings boxed up with virtually no room for manouver except for maybe Foreven and the regions beyond Hiver space and other polities (sp?). 1248 is a lot more open and pretty much anything could be done with it within reason. I concur - after the init...

Traveller Clix?? Ok - I give - what's a Clix? :? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HeroClix These miniatures look a bit too "cartoony" for my taste, they do not fit into my image of the Traveller universe. On the other hand, the HALO universe collectable miniatures are quite a sight to behold......

There will not be any Traveller RPG miniatures from us. There simply is not enough market there to support it. Any line of miniatures, if they are going to be successful and not just short runs, need to be supported by a full blown miniatures game. So we are having a Traveller miniatures wargame in...

If we ever do Traveller miniatures (and there is no current solid plans to do so), they would be in God's own scale - 28mm. I feel both 15mm and true 25mm would mean less effort (i.e. you could just concentrate on the minis that are unique to the Traveller Universe), and would propably please a gre...

They are also offering ex-Citadel 15mm Aslan and Droyne at reasonable prices. ;)

Orion has this set of modern Russian Federals: http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review.aspx?id=285 http://www.plasticrush.com/ORION72003.htm If it is a soldier, it is (nominally) 1:72 and it is plastic, your best bet is to head to Plastic Soldier Review or Plasticrush and you will find it!

Right. Just need to compile all these new Skills and such, into one book. Heh. A Traveller: Players Guide! A "Traveller Compendium I: Character Creation" would be a desirable tome once all the basic Books are published (i.e., "Merchant Prince", "Citizen", "Noble", etc.). "Traveller Compendium II": ...
