N is connected to the starship combat of the universe.

The fictional universe begins with another letter (two actually).

Mwahahahahahahahaha!
N = 'Normandy'????

ME = 'Mass Effect'????

Actually, I'm quite thrilled that SW is getting a license for Space 1889. (Speaking of which, I played Deadlands Reloaded at a local mini-con last weekend and had a GREAT time. I played a pre-genned Huckster from New Orleans, so I got to lay the faux-Cajun accent on really thick, mon enfants. ) Tha...

The fleet scale Imperial and Zhodani starships are 1:7,200. The adventure-class scout, free trader and pinnace are a different, much bigger scale, but I don't recall if it has been stated. Incidentally, they look bigger than the adventure-class starships RAFM issued for the Traveller: The New Era in...

Excuse me, as I am sure this has been covered before:

Is something in this book that is new (i.e., that has not been published previously in S&P or another source?).

Thanks! :D

IMHO Mongoose should do a wargame in the Traveller universe. If Mongoose Traveller had been a short-lived endeavour one could understand this not happening - but now that the line has been running for several years and that there have been dozens of books published, there is little excuse. :twisted:...

993 ATU (Gateway Domain)

In this post in another Traveller-related forum , Martin J. Dougherty explains that with the lapsing of the Traveller license held by QLI, the 993 millieu in the Gateway Domain ATU materials are once again free to be developed by other Traveller license holders (like Mongoose). Dear Matt, are there ...

This one together with the earlier Transhuman Space and GURPS Terradyne are definitely on my list.

Warning: they are interplanetary, in-system RPGs as opposed to interstellar. But they are awesome.

Matt, we have been pestering you with the Traveller character miniatures issue for a long time (with no official response so far I may add :twisted: ), but how about Traveller hex-and-counter boardgames in the old fashion? Peter Vernon created a 53-page "Consolidated Equipment List" for previous versions of Traveller, compiling data from canonical sources. It is not exactly what you are after, but it might serve to define what IS used in the 3I setting. http://www.scribd.com/doc/20602564/Consolidated-Equipment-List-fo...

Re: Tufleyverse Traveller

So, if I was to do some specific stuff (depending on Jon @ GZG etc) how would that be received? Kinda recursive? :D Considering Traveller was one of Jon's major inspirations for his stuff. I believe that it would very closely resemble an alternative, parallel version of 2300 AD rather than Travelle...
