I use true 25mm miniatures because back in the eighties I laid my hands on the Grenadier miniatures. And it was great news when Mega Minis released their limited series of 25mm Vargr, K'kree and Bwap. But I must admit that the astonishing amount of 15mm goodies being made today are very tempting. I ...

Jokes apart, is there anything new on 2300 / 2320 / 2350 AD? - or has the project been scrapped? :?:

Thanks!

I would jump up and down in joy if Mongoose acquired licensing to make a 2300 AD sourcebook for the Mongoose Traveller system. Until that happens, I would say keep Kafers where they are supposed to be, in the 2300 AD universe . Go ahead and make a new minor race based upon the Kafers if you like th...

15mm not-Vargr miniatures

Well; they are soldiers from the Protolene Khanates, but they look quite Vargrish to me!

I really wish someone would do aslan(ish) minis in 15mm. I've switched over that scale and I find it perfect for Traveller. I know their is an old set of Citadel Aslan out there, but those go for major money on Ebay. Then you might try here , under "Sci Fi Lion Men". It's all explained in this thre...

The two miniatures licenses from last appear, by some things posted on TMP by Johnny Lauck of MegaMinis, to be down to one: Ad Astra Games. Mr. Lauck has stated that he now considers licensing (of any kind) to have been a mistake on his part. Since he was the one doing the 25mm Traveller aliens, it...

Classic Traveller never did a Vilani Sourcebook. Yes, MegaTraveller did one, but I personally would like to see a Vilani Module for MGT. I do agree the Vilani should get much more coverage :) . Even GURPS Traveller: Interstellar Wars would benefit from that. OTOH I would very much like a K'kree sou...

I wonder whether one of the players will have the idea to turn it into an "Anti-Air/Raft-Gun" to get rid of those annoying spotter air/rafts searching for the rebel camps ... Ahhh! Those thoughts bring memories long forgotten about old-fashioned anti-tank rifles being used against light b...

I had nothing to do while I was rocking my 2-year old (he finally fell asleep, thank God! ), so I opened PhotoShop and superimposed a transparent layer with "IS Form 21" on your Gaia map.

Here is the result:

It just seems to have sneaked in there, unbidden and unwanted ... IIRC, Intrusion was the skill you used in previous editions of Traveller (CT / MT?) whenever you wanted to smuggle a restricted weapon past the security checks at a starport and into a world with a high Law Level. I don't know, maybe...

Another one I just though of is the setting for Ground Zero Games' Stargrunt II, Dirtside II and Full Thrust. There's already been a Full Thrust to Traveller conversion. It's already close. Plus, it could lead to enough collaboration to see Traveller based miniatures being made again, in both 25mm ...

Polesotechnic League / Terran Empire (Poul Anderson) Foundation (Asimov) Known Space / Ringworld (Larry Niven) These are all obvious choices, as they all were the forefathers of dear old Traveller. Seconded. On a very different tone, let me add something I am currently reading (and enjoying)...

Yes - no matter which Universe (OTU/ATU), please do bring us a Traveller wargame. With minis (do not care about the scale as long as the line is extensive - 15mm or true 25mm if it is not). It would, besides, be a splendid chance to get more fluff on uniforms, equipment and military organizations of...

Old hands said the vehicles built with FF&S1 tended to be heavier than their real-life counterparts (an easily fixed problem I should say), but other than that it was a gearhead's dream come true..
