Re: Book 30: Dead in the Deep?

If you wish to go to Kaag turn to 2 If you possess the Grand Master Discipline of Deliverance and have reached the Rank of Sun Thane you may use this instead to Exorcise Nyxator's spirit, turn to 350. 350 As you return to the Kai Monastery you are again greeted by the four who sent you on your quest...

Re: Book 30: Dead in the Deep?

Heh you could just go on and on... Dead in the Deep "1" You rise early and to meet Supreme Master Lone Wolf in the Tower of the Sun. Guildmaster Banedon, Gwynian the Sage and Lord Rimoah are there waiting for your appearance. Your Magnakai sense of Divination starts to tingle in anticipation of a ne...

You could be right - just looked at Bk 29 Story so far -

-5101: Shortly after the celebration of the Fehmarn, the Chasm of Gorgoron is shaken by earthquakes for weeks. When the earthquakes finally stops, the jungle of Dessi is swarming with Agarashi.

Re: Book 30: Dead in the Deep?

(I hope, to find Grey Star?) SPOIL: Grey Star has been found between LW28 and LW29 according to the Story so Far of LW29: he even helped to build the new Kai Monastery in the Isle of Lorn. Must re-read that then - I didn't know that Grey Star had been found (thanks!) or that the new Monastery had b...

Re: Book 30: Dead in the Deep?

That's if it takes place on Magnamund of course. We may even be off to the Plane of Darkness, Light (I hope, to find Grey Star?) or the Daziarn - Plane of water? Dead may not even mean Undead, it might refer to a dead magic zone or perhaps the New Order Grand Master is missing, presumed dead - a bit...

Re: Book 30: Dead in the Deep?

I don't know about someone clearly lying, I suspect that Mongoose (like most companies) are wary of informing their clients of anything until they are as certain as they can be. Then something happens, circumstances beyond their control, delays at the printer, etc, etc. and it does appear to the cli...

Re: Running a play-by-post game

Okay I've read all the story now. Would it be possible to become Galdron's character as a PC? It seems like the ideal oportunity to join the story through him. I can create a Vakeros character based on him if you like - the party could do with some sort of spellcaster having two Knights and a Kai Lo...

Re: Running a play-by-post game

Hi. Are you still looking? Would like to give it a go - been into LW since mid 80's. Got some questions though. So... Which characters/classes are still represented? Is it done purely by post now - not Skype/Maptools? Got a bit confused about Random Numbers - do we roll and tell you or is there anot...

Re: Book 17 The Deathlord of Ixia - What's Changed?

No I'm afraid the instant death is unchanged when escaping Xaagon, didn't spot any other changes either. Also I believe Mongoose Publishing stated that they would reword the text to make it absolutely clear that Ixiataaga is treated as Undead: It's on another thread, think 'fixing bk 17', that Joe s...

Book 17 The Deathlord of Ixia - What's Changed?

Spoiler. I haven't read the new Mongoose version yet as I'm waiting for all the Grand Master books but here are the changes I have noticed, please feel free to add more. Basically as Mongoose stated some of the earlier/lesser foes have slight CS/EP reduction and some fights remain unchanged. Note th...

Re: Lone Wolf 17... Is In!

T.Y.A: thank you. You never know! Spoiler-ish (it isn't really a spolier because I'm just speculating)... At the end of the bonus adventure, the 'hero' communicates with an unknown, um, 'boss'. It would be cool if this was August's Azavath from the Dire adventures: I can only imagine what August an...

After reading Flight from the Dark and Fire on the Water and all those Giak Scrolls I have come to the conclusion that ...

"Your map will come signed by author Joe Dever. It will be embossed with his personal library seal." Got mine, signed. Re: Darklands Character Classes

Ah, didn't explain well enough. Don't get me wrong the Darklords are absolutely intent on conquering Magnamund. I meant to suggest that they were invading countries not only to control them but also to recover long lost items, which they need to conquer more countries and so on.... I'm not sure if i...
