US design teams worked on over 50 potential battleship designs of varying compexity between the wars so there's no shortage of material. The RN list at present has a hell of a lot already. I was going to work up the US and Japanese fleets for "Plan Orange" but haven't had time yet (next project aft...

My only concern is that ships that actual served but have a low "way cool" factor will get short shrift in favor of ships that had no effect whatsoever on the conduct of World War II at sea but are seen as much cooler Hence the reason I would prefer to stick with historical limits to quantities bui...

I write this at the risk of returning to the (or at least a) point. If Mongoose is short of space in the supplement, why not have two. If you have do this one could contain the historical ships and the other the "what ifs"? This might make everbody happy. I'm not really sure space would be an issue...

Now, as to the matter of how many Vanguards can sail on the head of a pin ... As many as want to.... The only casualty of irrevent banter is pride and that's only if you don't see it coming. Tsk, tsk, tsk. The correct answer is: as many as Her Majesty, acting through the Minister of Defen...

I only wanted to know if there were any stats for the Vanguard. Still it was worth the post cos I haven't laughed so much in ages. Never thought you would end up being a limb of the Horned One, eh? Sometimes I think that if gamers didn't have trivialities to argue about some of us would never...

Honestly, I don't care if Mongoose puts Mussolini's state gondola and two classes of Dark Elf dragonship in their supplement as long as they spend at least as much time and space on fixing the sizable holes that still exist in the lists of ships, planes, etc, that actually served during World War II...

that's fascinating, but the British never actually built any Lion-class battlecruisers Actually we built two in 1912 :) We did start building two Lion class battleships in 1939 and ordered another two, we just didn't finish them. Anyway, this could be an interesting thread for those putting the supp...

I for one am a little on the fence sitter side here. I can see both points of the argument. Especially since if you don't include the Graf Zeppelin then the germans can't use half the rules in the book. On the other hand as for the Vanguard I agree it wasn't even completed till after the war so tec...

prob a similar reason as to why the graf zeppelin was in there Ah, so it's actually a fantasy game then? I must admit, I've never really understood people's fascination with the Graf Zeppelin (same size as an Essex and twice as many guns but only half as many aircraft and those inferior to US...

Just out of curiosity, with all the units that haven't been added yet, e.g. the entire Regia Aeronautica, why would you include the stats for a battleship that wasn't commissioned until a year after the end of WWII and never fired its guns in combat against anybody?
