I have had my weapon sets for a while.

Pat Wagons have supposedly started to trickle out. No biker gangs that I know of.

Re: Question about Aicraft in OOB

Also, the dodge skill of the Fairey Swordfish seems way too good for such a slow moving aircraft. Just had to add that as something I noticed. in 'War in a Stringbag' the author recounts being so slow that he is consistently ably to out-turn a Messchersmit and turning and dropping altitude until th...

Re: Star Trek Warp factors versus Traveller Warp

Possibly because it was easier for a TV audience to understand 1-10. Similarly it is easier to understand Jump 1-6, ( and correspondingly planets exactly a parsec apart in 2D) than actually calculate a speed of 0.0194 lightyears per hour. Notably actual warp speeds were never actually established in...

Re: Ranges and table sizes

Yes, VAS 1.

Optimum range is to 20-30 with a radar fix. Then you suffer no penalty, but gain the advantage of plunging fire.

Re: Germans at long and extreme ranges

A general question - why not use Flank Speed! all the time? It gives a +1 movement at no penalty. Flank Speed! Command Check: Automatic Effect: Straining the engines, the captain orders his crew to make best speed. The ship adds +50% to its Speed for this turn. All Attack Dice of weapons fired from...

Ranges and table sizes

We find on a 6 x 4 table that big guns are immediately in range, so closing and turning isn't a huge issue.

Has anyone tried using centimetres? Does this make closing and maneuvering more important? And does it make it harder to get those ship-killing destroyers close enough to unleash torpedoes?

Germans at long and extreme ranges

We are still playing games of 1st edition while the second is still somewhere over the horizon, and we had a few questions arise from our last game. German Radar: It can only detect ships in its front arc, but once a ship is detected, can it use radar at long & extreme range even if the target is no...

Multiplayer game arrest question

We played a 3-way game the other night. A question arose as to what constuted reason for Judges to forgo arresting someone. If a Cabalist shot at a Mobster would that allow Judges to shoot? Or if a Cabalist shot at a Robot?

Demonic cabal summoning question

Whenyou get a result of 10-11 on the summoning table and possess an enemy infantry model, when does that take effect?

Do you get to act with that model immediately? Or do you wait till the following turn? How soon can your opponent's models attack that model?

Re: Official FAQ and Errata

That didn't really address my confusion about the Explosive weapon trait... I'm probably reading an out-of-date rules version but my version says you aim at a point, not at a model. If there is no cover between the impact point and the models inside the Explosive area, do they get cover? Or is this...

At 500 points it can be 3 Judges or around 5 or 6 for other gangs.

We play at around 750 points, which is usually 6-8 figures.

Any demand for old Battlefield Evolution figures

I have a few BFE MEA - infantry, technicals and Fedayeen.

Is anyone out there still playing/ buying figures?

Or should I put 'em on ebay for a song?
