Chewie....
Excellent work on the cards and stats, Chewie. I'd love for MP to do some Aussie guys, but failing that I might have to get some Eureka dudes.
BTW, I notice on your evocommand details that you are on the Central Coast... Are you OK after the storms & floods?

Yes, Australia is part of the Commonwealth... now. In ten years... who knows? If Britain goes down the Euro path (as she does seem determined to, at a governmental level), Aussies would be even less willing to take instructions from London, seeing as the REAL istructions would be coming from Brussel...

They went with THIS http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cougar_%28vehicle%29 thing? Interesting choice. Well, there goes my chance of a model!

I wanted 4 Warriors to mount my Mechanised Infantry Platoon up, so I bit the bullet, and bought them with the Command teams. Now, when I took out the Command team that I needed for my platoon, that left 9 figures. Take out the almost useless Radio Op's (which may later get used as tank crews...from ...

Just speaking for myself here, but I was perfectly happy with the initial Wave 1 dudes.... and I did wind up getting a signifigant number of boxes. They were soldiers that I could play with straight off, and didn't have to paint! My wife says that I am not a wargamer, I am a collector of unpainted m...

How about some ADF Infantry with Bushmaster IMV's?
Hi all! Firstly, let me get my bias out of the way. I am Australian, and do think that we have some of the best trained and equipped Light Infantry in the world. Having got that out in the open, am I the only one would be interested in buying ADF guys and Bushmaster IMV's? http://en.wikipedia.org/wi...

I don't think anyone can claim "copyright issues". But was the conversion of the SST game into a Modern Small Unit Skirmish game inspired by large numbers of hours in front of a computer game? Probably. Are the factions similar? Some of them, but seeing the PLA as a major future combatant force, a c...

Actually, you're code-named Scarlet and fall under War Plan Red. And, I hate to tell you this, but you did the lap-dogging yourself. Hmmm, Hiromoon..... I am unsurprised that we rated a mention. Damned important country, we are.... way down here and all that. Why, we control the access to..... Ummm...

Hi all! I use a three dot marking on the rear rim of the base for my 'Regular Army' dudes (EFTF & PLA... the MEA have more flexable options, so I leave these unmarked.). First dot is Platoon, second is Squad/Section, third is Fireteam. I use Red, White & Blue as the colours, because EVERYBODY knows ...

I got a box of Brit Infantry that had a PLA Rifleman infiltrated into it, rather than a standing Brit Rifleman. The nice people at Mongoose had a replacement figure in my hands, IN AUSTRALIA within a week! Just email them : sales@mongoosepublishing.com , and they will fix it for you.... gotta love t...

Last night's EFTF vs PLA Game
Had an awesome game last night, with an EFTF British force of 3 Challanger II and 3 Sections of infantry up against the PLA's 4 Sections of Infantry supported by 3 Type 99's. I was going to work out the points properly, but as we were in a hurry to set up and get going, I couldn't be arsed! The batt...
