Actually, it was me, I hadn't realized I wasn't signed in, and I wasn't baiting Drak. It's just that I notice people spell those incorrectly more often than not, which is odd considering how often they appear in the series. I didn't think they were all that difficult to spell. Yes, I mentioned that...

I'm with you guys here. Magazines are fine and dandy but they aren't the way a line should be suported. I have pretty much lost faith that they will make anything else in this line to draw my attention. Unfortunate, I really liked the setting book and was looking forward to more on this than I was ...

This sounds like it was a very cool project. The stating seems solid... some of the descriptions are a little brief though. In any case, I would like a copy of this. You'll have to petition Mongoose to release it as a freebie or to do a Monsters of Magnamund book! Since the LW RPG is OGL, why could...

To be more exact, in Book 4 it is here , in Book 6 here , and in Book 9 either here or here . One should also not forget Book 16 where you can meet Gwynian here . (Book 18 is unfortunately not available online yet.) Oh yeah, book 16 too! Thanks for pointing that out Angantyr. And for supplying the ...

I'm sure I will be corrected here, but I believe they have appeared in book 4 (the guy in the shack on the road to Ruanon) and in book 6 also in Varetta. Maybe more later on but these two stand out. That's right. You can meet Gwynian the Sage in books 4, 6, 9 and I believe also in book 18. You also...

Most spells are a standard action to cast, while some (like Lightning Hand) can be cast as often as your Magical Base Combat Skill allows (multiple attacks at +6, +11, and +16 like normal attacks) I'll need to check that. I was under the impression that lightning hand was a single attack spell and ...

There already is one. Check it out at www.athas.org. Lots of material, and it's the WOTC sanctioned official DS site. The Wolf wrote:Dark Sun, now that's a world that needs a 3.5 edition remake!

Noooo, let's be serious: I don't DISLIKE dwarves. I'm just not found of them. They appear in just EVERY fantasy RpG (even more than the Elves!!!) and are always the same kind of "cliché": - bearded - loving beer - living underground - found of axes and powder I can point out at least two worlds in ...

Actually, you should give them another go. There's actually quite a lot of sneaking around for old Lone Wolf in those, most of the time in fact. Lots of infiltration missions, sabotaging, rescuing old friends and such. As for monsters getting tougher, well that was to keep a certain game balance and...

I think Toran was detailed enough already, but I could be wrong (I've yet to really scrutinize Dawn of Destruction). It's not that detailed, we don't even have a map of the city! We get to see part of the wharfs, the guild house, a tavern and a few other locations between DoD and BMR. There are als...

I'm not too familar with the meaning of the term legend, but if you mean a key, I did draw one for the City:) Yeah, sorry about that, "Légende" for a map is in French, the correct word in English is indeed "key". Hopefully it will appear in part 2! I was really looking for a description of those nu...

I just noticed a few things right away: Jabrus Cope is referred to as a "Sommerlunder" and speaks "Sommerlend", instead of being a Sommlending and speaking Sommlend. Also, why is there no legend for the map of the city? Will that appear in next month's installment? Otherwise, good job, it does flesh...

Another language that saw all 28 books published was French. Some (or all?) of the books are supposedly still available. Only books 1-20 are still available in French. It must be mentioned that books 23 and 24 were inverted, and that some maps were missing from the Grand Master adventures (13-20). ...
