Perhaps it shouldnt happen to the "modern" battleships with their armoured decks ? My knolwedge is shaky but isnt Hood a stretched Queen Elizabeth so has thinner armour . Also She never got the badly needed refit which would have improved her protection outside her immunity zone. Perhaps "Armoured D...

I place it before movment and trail is along behind the ship as it moves so you might need more than 1 smoke counter for a ship moving fast, is a destroyer going 9inches !

You can use good old cotton wool if you like it :)

I dont know if I am correct in this but it seems logical :)

From your link mate

June 1941 - 9 Fairey Fulmar, 4 Hawker Sea Hurricanes, 9 Fairey Albacore and 18 Fairey Swordfish

if you look at 41 especially there are 3/4 different aircarft on board at the same time. I suppose for the game they picked the most common ?

VAS Critical hit effects question

The rules state that they are not cumulative which is fine but if you get a result of say Turbine damaged -1 speed and then get the same result again next turn before it is repaired is it ignored as the Turbines are already damaged ?

VAS Are Torpedo attacks affected by Bad weather/night time ?

The rules say depth charges arent modified at all regardless of conditions but Torps say they are not affected by the modifiers on page 7

I think they should be penalised for Bad Weather maybe but not sure about Night Time

Yes i use 1:6000 due to space . I only have room for a 6x4 board so the 1:3000 scale are a bit big really when there are several ships on the table Magister Militum do a range of Figurehead 1:6000 ships and they are very nice. They do virtually every ship I think and even some of the what if's like ...

I dont think they can as it stands, as AA fire goes first in the attack phase so the fighters would be classed as dogfighting so no shooting allowed
