Yes, you can gain Divine Fervour in play. It works according to the Pact (XXX) rules. Talk to your GM - you might have to demonstrate your faith in God in some dramatic way, or have a divine revelation before you can gain Fervour.

Also I apply the same to other items and weapons where the items base tech is lower than the standard. If your standard tech is 12 then those base tech 4 shotguns are a lot cheaper to buy at tech 12. They are no better, just cheap. You can go overboard with this. Why's a TL12 planet bothering to pr...

One option would be to have 'augmentation' and 'replacement' cybernetics. Augments are the ones from the core rulebook - they build on what you already have. A cyberarm augment would increase your Strength score by a few points by implanting artificial bones, boosting key muscle groups, draining lac...

It should be in editing. I'm starting in on SotA9 next week, and we've been throwing around the outline for the next campaign around for the last few days. (Very different. More sandboxy, much grittier, Trojan Reach...)

Simplest solution - Wyrmfriend sympathisers renamed the town Solthmouth, feeling that a more neutral name would hasten the adoptation of Draconised Orlanthism by deemphasising mortal heroes. Solthmouth becomes Jansholm again after the rebellion.

Plus, it's a dangerous time, with the EWF breathing down the valley and some of the clans already embracing the Dragon. Courtesy and proper identification are even more important in such circumstances.

They're asked to help by Thandor. They can say no, but that means snubbing one of the more powerful lords in the valley - and when they accept, Thandor tells them he wants them to stall the EWF investigation anyway. Hendrik's open with his contempt for the EWF and his devotion to the Old Ways - but ...

Personal Development: Stat increases and skills that might be unofficially connected with the career. You'll notice that Carouse, Gambler and Melee (Brawl) tend to be shoved into Personal Development.

Advanced Education: Academia. science, abstract learning.

NPC Descriptions are in the text of the adventure. Most of the NPCs only show up for a scene or two, so it's easier to describe them in situ as opposed to having a separate section for every NPC. Howling Wolf characters might know there's a secret shrine in the mountains, but it's only for cult memb...

Basically:
If you're sent to the mishap table, you're leaving the career UNLESS
1) You were sent there by a double-1 on the Event table
or
2) the particular mishap you roll is one that either doesn't eject you, or gives you a choice or a chance to avoid being ejected.
