Re: Elric Enchantment
I think it's a leftover from MRQ1. The original Magic of the YK had a selection of magic items. These could be gained by taking the Enchantment reward, although often only temporarily or with caveats attached because some of them were quite powerful. I would just invent something. A crystal decanter...

Re: Elric - Prince Gaynor
Hi DJ, I will dig out my Elric stuff when I get home. I'm fairly certain that Gaynor is only 'treated' as having 20 points of his Pow dedicated to whichever pact he has at that given time. I think that he can actually use all of his MP. I think it was something about his mercurial nature and shiftin...

Re: Elric Campaign (Google Site)
Hah, the boul Ronzo has finally found a game. I'm still trying to find time to get the other guys back together at the minute. The kids are just not playing fair though. :( Still, hopefully soon. :) Have a good time DJ. He's a good lad and an accomplished GM as well. He 'should' be an asset to...

Will Elric be available in Legend format as well? Really looking forward to Secrets of the Steppes.

Sorry guys but I am a computer illiterate, so I have no idea how to set up a link for you.
It's by Gunmetal Games. It should be easy to find using a basic Google Search. There is a massive preview PDF on their site.

Re: [CONAN] Non-Tlazitlan Aztecs:
Guys, sorry about this minor derailment of your thread. Have you checked out Totems of the Dead for Savage Worlds. Apparently it was originally conceived as a Hyborian Age New World setting for a Savage Worlds Conan. It has changed quite a bit since the SWConan idea fell through, but there looks to ...

Re: MRQ1 Publishing Info Needed
The other Elric and Hawkmoon products you mention were only released in soft cover. I bought most of these products as they became available so I'm pretty certain about this. Cults of the YK was a delayed buy though, so I can't confirm whether it ever had a hard cover release.

Re: MRQ1 Publishing Info Needed
Hi Kurgan.
The Elric Companion, Magic of the YK, Bright Shadows and Hawkmoon Granbretan were all originally available as Hardcovers.
I own all of the above in hard cover format, so you can regard this as confirmed.

Re: Ancient Stones. Setting for Legend RPG
Soltakss,
Were you familiar with the comics? I can't understand why you thought it might be a 'Historical Celtic' setting. It's clearly based on Celtic myth and legend and if Slaine isn't supposed to be Cu Chulain, well I just don't know. If it was OTT, it was absolutely intentional.

Re: Ancient Stones. Setting for Legend RPG
Yeah, Slaine for MRQ1 could probably give you a few nice ideas for what you are envisaging. Soltakss, Why do you day that the Slaine setting is 'deeply flawed'? Admittedly, some of the ways the rules worked in the setting needed revision and clarification and it was clearly skewed in favour of the S...

Re: The Legend Soundtrack
If you are playing any of the Eternal champion settings, it time to dig out those old prog rock 33's again. Nothing says MM like a bit of Hawkwind. I also find that early Bowie works for Hawkmoon. In an early game of Hawkmoon, years ago, the players were at a masked ball in Normandia held in h...

Re: TB's Elric campaign
G'day Ronzo, pity you didn't make it home for the big one. Was looking forward to getting a couple of sessions in before you scarpered again. Onyhoo, you can probably guess quite easily which character was played by which of the three stooges. It's not difficult when you know them like we do..... :l...

Re: [CONAN] Equipment Deterioration
The old Slaine D20 had some fun rules about the malleability of Iron weapons. It's a bit different from what you are talking about but might be usable in a Cimmeria based campaign..... :D I can't remember them exactly as I'll have to get my rulebook back off an old mate but, iron weapons get bent ou...

Re: Scale in the Young Kingdoms
There are sailing times, in days, in the Elric 1st Ed Companion. Also, in Cities of the Young Kingdoms you can ascertain the following distances from the opening chapter. Alorasaz is 700 km from Raschil and Raschil is 900 km from Ryfel. Alorasaz to Ryfel takes 45 days mounted or 90 days on foot. Ras...

Re: Conserning old Hawkmoon Legendary Abilities in RQII
Hi Chade. I have played quite a bit of Hawkmoon myself and I prefer the Fate points system to the Hero points system so much that I decided to use it in Elric games as well for both 1st and 2nd Ed MRQ. Ranger Dan has a good idea there for Armoured Titan. Just halve all penalties to movement and stri...
