Nice pictures. I like the choice of Arachnid colors. Both swarms really pop out visually with the bright contrasts.

Even crawling with Bugs, it looks like an improvement on some parts of NJ. But then I'm biased. Oh..this is New New Jersey, not where I live. My bad :)

Re: The infestation begins

Damn addictions. I'll just have to make sure I get a couple games in. This topic reminds me so much of my own crazed buying. If it makes you feel any better about gaming addictions, I just did an inventory of my Mobile Infantry last night (official and some stand-ins) and I've got just shy of...

Personally, I prefer the Marauder kits to the look of the AT-43 mechs. I don't know if I can use the word "realistic" but the M8 and M9 just seem to make more sense. Could also be the many hours I spent watching the entire TV series on DVD a few weeks ago

I could certainly use 3-4 of those. I'd actually like to see Mongoose make some of the SICON wheeled vehicles from the TV series.

I've picked up a lot of things since last year when I got started playing. Another guy in my group ran the first Klendathu scenario two weeks ago. He's planning on running it as a campaign this year. I'm working on a 4x16 multi-ravine canyon terrain board. I've got 15 troopers in WASP packs to assem...

I like game turns with mechanics that engage both sides. I don't want either side to wait an hour while the other guy does everything. I like probability distributions that give a wide range of results with the extremes being less common than the expected. I also like a system that is easily modifie...

I'm working on a Spugs list. My background fluff is that they are enemies of the Arachnids. While both are "Bugs", during the evolution of the species the Spugs developed along a technological path as opposed to the Arachnids who create biological solutions to environmental threats. Because they use...

Re: Size of miniatures.

think of it this way wouldnt it be realy stupid to resculpt the entire range for a size change ? sizes are the same as what you own so fear not. Well, that makes a lot of sense. And of course you've seen them. Thanks for the reassurance. I was looking forward to filling out some of my units with so...

For something constructive- I am painting up a squad of Cap troopers in desert camo. dry brushing tan over a black undercoat looks good, and you don't have to spend alot of time getting a squad together. I forgot to add my constructive bit. I recently got my Roughneck squad assembled a few nights a...

I'd like an answer to this question as well.Just in terms of Federation, I've got 3 game box sets of MI, reliant teams, roughnecks, heroes, female CAP troopers, LAMI, Marauders, and recently Exo-suits that I want to be able to integrate with future releases and to add to my existing forces. My speci...

Like I said somewhere else..

I'm not against it, but they should be patient and wait to use the name for a military spacecraft.

I give Mongoose all the credit in the world for not taking a strong hand in moderating these boards. I don't have a problem with strong opinions either way. I believe a person on the other side of the keyboard is not just the sum of a few negative posts and I try to understand their position even if...

We're playing a MI vs. Bugs game tonight, either 1500 or 2000 points per side depending on how many folks show. You're welcome to join us if you can jump on the next plane and bring the new rules with you! :)

First, I'd really like to thank Mr. Sprange for communicating this change so far in advance and for answering all the pertinent questions to the best of his ability and for not getting defensive in the face of critical opinion. You are an example of courtesy and professionalism in the gaming industr...
