As far as i have heared Greg suggested that Mongoose could have ONE third age region, or the entire world, but in a different age. They choose to explore the complete world. :-)

A few more copy readers in between author and printer would mean also weeks or even months more time in between the publication of a book and the next. If a typo in a book means that we get MORE GREAT BOOKS, then i can live with a few typos, as long as the typos are not major ones. I am more worried...

Hello According to the "Glorantha: Genertela Crucible of the Hero Wars" Box Set by Avalon Hill for RuneQuest III (Thirs Age Glorantha), Kustria (the city state, not the city alone) has 200.000 people. I assume that this will be about the same in 910 as in 1620 (both dates are at the END of an Age, a...

I don´t have the MRQ2 rules yet, but there are good ways to do what you want. Do it the RQ3 Land of Ninja way (i write this without the box in front of me, so i might get it wrong): Roll under Fist and you get a damage of 1D3. Roll under Fist AND the Martial Arts skill and you get double damage AKA ...

French Monster Coliseum more monsters than the english one?

Hello I can´t read french, but i could figure out in the items descriptions on Moongoose website that the french edition of Monster Coliseum (presented in two volumes of 120 pages each) will include stuff not available in the english language edition. What stuff might that be? Will that be published...

Understanding Glorantha???? You want to heroform Greg Stafford??? ;-) The best tries have been so far: Jeff Richard, Lawrence Whitaker and Peter Metcalfe (all in their own kind of way). I like all three approaches (which are not incompatible, by the way). My own two cents to this topic: Try to under...

I am sorry that the Pavis book in rescheduled, but on a strange kind of way i am glad that the new edition of "Glorantha - The Second Age" will now be published BEFORE "Pavis Rises". Maybe it is also a good thing that the RQ Pavis book will be published not so far apart from the HeroQuest Pavis book...

STR, CON, and SIZ are stats that you can actually see (or at least have a good guess about) when you meet a person.

DEX, INT, POW, and CHA only show when you start interacting with that person.

I hope that i will also be able to play the "good guys" in that setting. Fighting the christian faith that destoyed the old ways with their monotheist approach, and their political and business like institution called church, would be far more interesting than playing a fanatic church person. I don´...

It is very wise to start with a location already known and liked. Detailing that in the age the game is set in, and start exploring from there: first neigbouring areas, then nearby or related ones, then the ones next to them, etc. HeroQuest focuses on Sartar now (and will explore Heortland, Pavis, P...

DragonQuest? Great idea. But it may be hard to get the license out of Hasbro/Wizards (everything they have purchased they publish by themselves or lock it away so that nobody else can publish it). Powers & Perils? Why republish one of the biggest mistakes in roleplaying history. Only a few games are...
