Mongoose's Webstore
Is there a problem with the webstore? I placed an order for the 2300ad rulebook and paid through paypal. Now the order has vanished from my order history.

Re: Whats Mongoose Publishing planning next?
Turns out someone did it. However they were forced to change the name by Bethesda. It is now called the "Exodus post-apocalyptic RPG"

Re: Whats Mongoose Publishing planning next?
I have a suggestion inspired by madness and genius. How about doing a Fallout sourcebook for Traveller?

Re: Zombies, Werewolves, and Vampires in Traveller
Vampires - near as I can tell the Vampires are blood drinkers that are created by draining them of all their blood and then the victims ingesting the blood of a Vampire. However the new Vampire is now controlled by their maker. Zombies - non-nanite zombies. They are created either by a serum or a ga...

Zombies, Werewolves, and Vampires in Traveller
I know this sounds strange, but I recently got some of the miniatures for the Secrets of the Third Reich game from West Wind Productions, and got the idea of using some of their stuff in Traveller. I have already designed the stats for several of their vehicles, but I was wondering if anyone had don...

Traveller - Gamma World
How about bringing back Gamma World or something similiar to it with the traveller rules, and without the screwed up version that Wizards brought out? Bring it back to the early days yet updated and playable with the traveller rules.

Damaging inanimate objects
Do any of the books for MgT contain rules for damaging inanimate objects, blasting through walls and doors and such? I cannot seem to find any and I was wondering if there was any.[/code]

Universe RPG
True, but it was pretty good. And I do happen to have all the articles. Pretty much it left it up the GM to create the universe.

Hmmm. . .
I guess no one here is old enough to have encountered the Universe RPG by SPI. Here see if this helps: http://members.iinet.net.au/~avalon11/IMPRINT/Role%20Playing%20Index.htm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universe_(role-playing_game) And, believe it or not, I do have the PDF's and the original books...

SPI's Universe RPG
As an old school gamer. I ran accross an old scifi rpg from an old company taken over by TSR back in the day. It was the Universe RPG. It came out before even Star Frontiers. However, TSR shut it down when they took over so they could not have competition with Star Frontiers. I wonder, given the exc...

Old Ships
I do know that I have had an old ship or two. I had one that had so many sensor mods, engine upgrades, and more smuggling compartments than entire navies put together that it was rediculous. To top it off you should have seen the reputation it had as a honest trader.

Yeah but . . . .
Making them slay the dragon to get the hoard I have no problem with. Telling them afterwards they have to surrender 75% or more to rid them of their wealth is what I have problems with. Merchants do not become merchants to have adventure and excitement, they become merchants to make money. If they w...

Balancing Out
If your players are making this kind of profit. . . . LEAVE THEM ALONE. Every time I hear how players need to lose some of their hard earned money, it sounds like jealousy to me. It brings the mind the lame ways of releaving players of their hard earned loot from D&D. If players have the skills on t...

Multiple Ancient Races
Well you could have multiple Ancient Races: 1) The Ancients that we are familiar with from Traveller - who meddled with EVERYTHING and wiped themselves out. 2) The Old Galactics from the Federation of the Hub series - who are still arround, their ancient empire has crumbled. They let us younger race...
