We did play it through (quite the campaign in fact) but most of it never went "on file"... maybe it should? I won't promise anything but if I find the time I might take this up again.

Matt said that this forum may be folded into a "General Forum" if they loose the license. I've been slowly going through the old posts, trying to find gems like the one in this thread. Better get 'em now for storage. They'll be hard to find when the forum is folded into another. Just skimming the a...

For any project like this you have some basic decisions to make. Are you going to play Traveller using Star*Drive setting and backdrop? Or are you going to play Star*Drive using the Traveller rules? The difference is in the emphasis and adaption of things that do not immediately fit together. One ex...

What's wrong with writing your own? That's what I usually do for Conventions.

Makes sure you can customise the PC to fit the plot (pre-generated) and also makes sure the scenario isn't too long or too short for the time slot given.

I might have mentioned it elsewhere but here it goes: I have three players, and they decided to name their charactgers after eachother. Now THAT is a real mind-job. Player A = PC B Player B = PC C Player C = PC A Total confusion and tons of giggeling later... I'm a wreck. Did I do something wrong? H...

I had to enable the macros to get it to cyxle subsectors... Yeah the only VB macro I have in the document is linked to that button, and has to do with swapping map-images. So if you don't enable that the Map will never change... /wolf Well that explains why it doesn't work in Linux with Open Office...

Frankly, I would think the Mongoose/FFE people would realize that fan-built software and aids are the ONLY thing that kept Traveller going for a couple decades... and would give their blessing to a Shipyard, character generator. But that's just me... Yeah, I'm still a little confused by the new Pol...

On a dumb note, I can't switch between subsectors on the Subsector page. It just highlights the toggle button. Any ideas? Hmm... If you are unable to manipulate the spin-button it sounds like you are running it in "design mode" then... Do this to verify: Click: View Menu --> Toolbars --> Control To...

It's up there now! GhostWolf69's - Traveller SM Campaign Helper Feel free to drop me a line if you have requests for changes or find bugs. So, reading the new Fair Use Policy etc. I can have the maps and Sector data, using the FUP. I can have the Universal World Profile Decoder, using the SRD. What I CAN'T have is the Ship Builder part... am I right? So I'll remove that or change it into a simple Sheet for filling out data manually. So...

A little too vague for me still. So I'll wait.

The irony of waiting, is that once the proper thing is actually published I'll most likely have to ask for help here in this thread anyway to decipher what it means. ;)

Since we are on the subject of names, one of my groups just did a mind job on me... I ref. there are three players. Stefan, Maria and Eva. (Yeah two ladies I know). And just to mess with my head they decided to give their PCs what another player's name are in reality. Player Stefan = PC Eva Player E...

... some shelves over there, the counter in that corner... and a coffee machine in the back.

It's perfect.
