Re: [Mongoose News] Printed Option for Voucher

I'll cast another vote for the printer friendly version as POD, being old and half blind :D

Re: DTRPG POD

As someone who works in the printing industry (I'm art director for a printing company) and someone who has received three PoD books from Lightning Source (SWN, before the Mongoose Version; Other Dust; and Shadow, Sword & Spell (softcover, the other two were hardcover)); I can say that I was very pl...

Re: [Stars Without Number]Any interest in a Third-Party Sett

I recall reading some of your early Alkanost posts (on your blog, I believe) and they sounded very interesting. If this were to become a kickstarter, I would definitely back it, and if it were instead published and listed on DTRPG, I would purchase it.

Re: RuneQuest Star Wars

I was thinking more of unintended consequences Always good. The amount of collateral damage tends to increase proportionally to the awesomness of the jedi/sith involved. Compare Yoda/Sidious fight, which would have taken some serious cleaning up after. Also, I highly approve of gungan sithlord. [hi...

Re: Swashbucklers of Atlantis - Semi-Legend powered

I just heard from my players, they got together last night to create their adventurers for Sunday's game. We have: An Aegyptian Wizard of middle class birth with a golden singing voice (in fact he can shatter glass). A young upper class/gentry Explorer born of Rural Eireish Merchants with the uncann...

Re: All Hits go to the Head...

That is funny. I've had similar experiences where a session or two would work out that way. Years ago, I ran a Harnmaster Campaign for a while, which, if you aren't familiar with it, has a more detailed hit location chart and one of the characters would invariably, seemed like 2 out of every 3 hits,...

Re: Swashbucklers of Atlantis - Semi-Legend powered

I specifically didn't use the label but put the disclaimer that it is "somewhat compatible" because I didn't figure Matt would appreciate my slapping a big Somewhat across the edge of the graphic :P (although I briefly considered it, but I didn't want it to be taken as a sign of disrespect, because ...

Re: Swashbucklers of Atlantis - Semi-Legend powered

I created a 'bestiary' today to give to my players. It has a handful of creature types in it, each with a short entry of 'common knowledge' that it would be reasonable for them to know. I've presented it as pages from a work by the daughter of Sir Isaac Newton, famous Natural Philosopher (who, unfor...

Thanks PrimeEvil, I'll find a copy of that sometime today and update it.

Added OGL to both versions (with and without cover art) and uploaded updated files to Box.Com

Swashbucklers of Atlantis - Semi-Legend powered

I will be starting a new campaign in about 2 weeks and I put together my adventurer generation document over the weekend. The game will be set in an alternate history earth where the 'new world' was named Atlantis by the discoverers, in honor of the legends of the lost continent. The year is 1745 an...

Re: A Question regarding Monsters of Legend Content

Thanks for the information, I'll still buy the digest size too, I've already set aside a small, 'mini-backpack' that my daughter gave me that will be perfect for the digest sized books and a small bag of dice, but now I know I don't have to be in a big rush.

A Question regarding Monsters of Legend Content

Are there any (or many) significant differences to the content of Monsters of Legend and Monster Coliseum (i.e., how many different or new critters are presented in MoL?) I'll be purchasing it at some point for completeness, but was mostly curious as to how urgent my need might be. Thanks for any in...

Re: Legend and 3PP

I've bought several of your d66 products through DTRPG and I like them, so the answer from me is YES :D The detailed answer is pretty much all of what you mentioned. Of particular use I think would be generic towns and locations, factions, spells and possibly items/npcs. Personally I use my own sett...

Very Nice Mr. Sprange

And at this price, I can justify getting the PDF and the Dead Tree version as well. And it reads quite nicely on my new Nook Tablet.

Thanks

Re: Ship's Locker Contents

At least once in a campaign, you should find a body inside a ships locker. Either a live stowaway, or a dead body that no one on board will admit to knowing how it got there
