It isn't closed. I put the value "0".
I had a similar problem sometimes ago on another poll.

Of course you're free to give your opinion.
Sorry about that, I keep being loggged out and hadn't noticed.

Re: Do you want a book of chaos ?

Mongoose is preparing a (generic) book on Necromancy, but nothing on Chaos which is after all the biggest villain the world hads ever seen. Warhammer had its Realms of Chaos and we "only" had Cults of terror and Lords of terror. These books are long out of print though, so may be some of you would ...

I do like (and will therefore steal) the idea of no darkness in the celestial realm and so Uz do not like it there. In that case maybe the perfect realm absorbs sound and so echolocation explanation is also useless. Grrrr Naw, its the continual 'Music of the Spheres' it just confuses them.

I have to disagree, Indonesia, Polynesia, and the Maoris in one book, would be like putting the Incas, the Hopi, and the Micmacs in one book. Just too spread out!

It seems like quite a good example, as a shark out of water (forget the breathing difficulties) would find it impossible to locate anything its eyes couldn't see, wouldn't this be true of trolls in day or strong light? Their hearing would help a bit but not much.

Yay for blind trolls!

I vote Mongoose commission Loz to write "Dara Happa Stirs again!" to make use of all these extra ideas ...
Or Dara Happa 'storm in a tea cup'?

A bit tenuous...

Well, although I like the Lankhmar line, I do feel it has it's fair share of flaws, especially the main book. Biggests Problems of the Lankhmar book according to me: - Nehwon's map hasn't got any scale, and seems directly pasted from the map of a homebrew campaign based on Leiber's work :http://que...

Dear All, Well we did speak French in England for hundreds of years (and in the large areas of France that we owned at the time).... Regards I have to disagree with you on this. If I was a fire priest and one of my initiates integ a water rune, it would be "Hello have you met your cult spirit of reprisal recently? cause you are about to and he doesnt want a quick chat on the finer points of the colour of a flame." I think the important phrase here is: "Just where did people get the idea that RQ wasn't designed to handle combat skills past 100 or 120%?" No, old RQ does handle skills over 100% and yes it is possible to gain high powered PCs with RQ2 and 3. Thats exactly what I was saying. A character with 200%...

I got to agree with soltkss, the idea that RQ wasn't designed to handle combat skills past 100 or 120%? Two Words:Rune Lords They game was designed to handle high skill rating very well. In fact, one thing I used to compare RQ to D&D was that RQ's combat system didn't break down for high level char...

1/ why are people happy with large amounts of violence yet squirm at the mention of sex? I know which one I would rather have people indulge in. From what I have read and seen, it looks good and seems to be well written. The review I read on it is glowing, as are the many comments on said review. As others here have said RQ has a much broader appeal. In my inital comment I said "It makes you think". It is up to you if you do or not (and actu...
