Try looking at Iron Heroes if you want a more heroic/cinematic feel to your D20 combat.

Well a Google for Gunshak throws up nothing - so could be entirely new.

errr....potentially stupid question. Are we actually sure that we will need to roll under a skill score, have the rules changed in such a way that we now add our skill score to a D100? This would explain the very low scores on the character sheet despite the fact that he's a Shaman and would also re...

I like the idea of the random element of the 1D10 variable (same as the system used in the new WFRP btw which could justifiably be called a BRP clone). I'll be interested to see how Mongoose have overcome the problem of actions bleeding into other rounds (Archery & spell casting are good examples) a...

Oh and there are Knights in 3rd Age Glorantha - was it the Empire of War? They were the Sorcery using Knights in full plate etc.

Polearms and Arbalests are the only weapons any self respecting adventurer needs

I have a vague memory of reading somewhere that Glorantha bronze actually has the same qualities as steel (except any iron content of course!).
Remember - the metals on Glorantha are actually the bones of Gods (apparently) so comparing them to real earth metals might be a bit fruitless.

Baboons - a great race, with plenty of scope for outrageous fun.
Midget Slashers - wasn't it a 3D6 bite damage? Great fun as a player killer.
Newtlings, Apple Lane, Rainbow Mounds, Borderlands and who can forget the Giants Cradle?

It's all beginning to come flooding back now :D

For a distinct overview of Chaos read Cults of Terror - particularly the Gbaji write up. I always liked the term Krjalki (sp?) - which was used to denote anything demonic, or in other words anything that was outside your cultural or spiritual frame of reference. eg - if you are a dirt picking barbar...

Half elves as a sub race never existed in Glorantha - they first made an appearance in Questworld though if I remember correctly. Anyone remember Lord Skyppens(sp?) Mansion?

I'm looking forward to the Glorantha Elves making an appearance as they are just so different from the Legolas clones marauding around games at the moment.
Will we see the Mostali guns - Iron Dwarves with guns was always a good way of hinting to the party they had annoyed the GM

Actually just because a limb went down to -6 in one hit didn't necessarily mean that it was lopped off, just so badly mangled that it was no longer useable. EG if the damage was a result from an inmpaling or crushing weapon then it would not be hacked off. RQ was never meant to be cinematic when it ...

Scenarios

What I don't see yet are any of the campaign/scenario packs. Are we going to see any come out quickly or are Mongoose hoping to see them generated through 3rd Party use of the OGL?

Runequst: Own Forum?

OK Mongoose - when do we old crusty Runequesters get our own Forum rather than being lumped under the 'other games'?
