I'm afraid I can't make it this year. Maybe I'll see if I can come to MH08.

Faenril - that's to do with their on-site printing works. However, due to Mongoose now going back to the old way - printing via printing companies, there should be little to no problems with new copies of books.

If someone turns up to play with counters and as long as it is identifiable which ship is which, then I don't have a problem. In fact if someone was turned away after travelling all the way to Swindon because they only had counters (even photocopies) then I would walk out on a matter of principle. ...

I'm just going to post here again just to show that I haven't just posted once to show my respects and then forgotten. POST And, furthermore, on a more relevent note - Ian, you couldn't have been a more welcoming and tolerant person in Summer '06, you really helped with settling in, so thanks for th...

This is sad news indeed. For me, you were certainly the face of Mongoose. Hopefully I'll see you at Games Expo then, as you'll be in my neck of the woods.

You're obviously trying very hard to forget my work experience stint. I must have called him Old Bear once or twice at least!

Mongoose have a special exchange rate thing based on duties and taxes and exchange rates and whatnot. Basically it makes sense sort of when you have it all explained to you, slowly, from what I remember..

Indeed, this is something that has been discussed for quite some time now, with ideas ranging from short and informative, to a regular video, with various reviews and challenges - Top Gear style! We'll have to see how things work out :) Top Gear, you say? Like a comparison between the Hilux, PLA FA...

For me it's not the basic idea of humans developing super-powers that makes it so attractive to me. It's the rich background, the mystery, the small recurring things such as the helix tatoo, the eclipse and the cockroach. I would very much like to see a game which captures the feel.

Heroes

Well, the second series is coming out soon in America, and the first series has just hit the BBC.

I think this could make a really good RPG - with contemporary setting obviously but focusing on progression of abilities, alteration of personalities, etc.

Anyone else think Heroes has potential?
