Any idea when the PDF will be available for purchase?

Thanks,

Again old quote and stuff but this is my way of doing a nice and friendly prodding :p I was wondering will there be any history added into that Minbari section? I can totally picture Earth spec ops forces fighting the Minbari during the Earth-Minbari War but can't picture the Minbari side. I would ...

The Minbari article is about 85% done, just need to finish stats and I can submit it. Centauri is at about 40%, Narn at 25%, Orieni and League just an outline with a ton of notes. It's all conjectural, obviously, as it's still getting kicked around but I had units from 8 different League races in the mix, with the League doing a lot of specialization and cross-coverage at the elite level. Gaim would be fascinating and I certainly have ideas for specific castes but I won't to...

Hadn't seen that yet. I'm glad to see that at least some of the other writers are willing to use this POD method. I'm sure the sales have opened some eyes. JMS said in one of the early books that he was hoping to get some of the other writers to allow their scripts to be published, and he hoped to ...

Cool, I am interested on the take on the Orieni namely because there has only been brief mentions of them and the Minbari due to the nature of their society though I'm sure the Centauri and Narns as well as the League will be interesting to see. One of the things that makes the Orieni easier ...

Well then, time to get my butt in gear. One of the nice things for the Orieni in particular is that they had their ground forces fairly well fleshed out by the old HRT but it never got published. Wait until you see their air transport assets for the Elite Strike forces out of the army regulars. . ....

Out of curiosity, would anyone be interested in more special forces stuff? I worked out OOB's, unit details, and weapons/vehicles for the Minbari, Centauri, Narn, League, and Oreni when I was writing the EA Factbook Special forces section and the S&P article. I drafted articles but never got around...

For those with interest, here are a few caps of the new Minbari cruiser and the Centauri fleet. It was nice to see the Balvarin in there, wasn't that Leo Dunin's design way back in the AoG War of retribution book? I wouldn't have a problem with new ships for their respective allies, especially the Shadows. However, them having more varieties of ships makes little sense to me. The ancients are way past the point of needing a combined arms or balanced fleet for conquest or defense. They have a small range of sh...

I'm not wild about the design itself but the ship certainly fills a hole in the EA fleet. The only thing that worries me about kitbash designs like this is that they have a tendency to linger. 10-20 years from now B5 games are going to have to include the thing and use the quickie design or get caug...

FWIW, the guys on the old B5 HRT who came up with the Orieni (wasn't it Rich and Graves?) came up with a pretty detailed description of the Orieni and where they had come from and were going. It was pretty impressively detailed, IIRC. Matt I only have the Wars of the Centauri Republic one where a b...

Its amazing the amount of miscommunication that goes on when JMS is involved (and I'm not talking just Mongoose-JMS here). I suspect the only solution is to not believe any promise for him to say or do anything unless you've got it from him directly ... and probably in writing too! Must. . . not. ....

I wonder if people might not be putting a little too much stock in B5's value. When the EA can build 200+ Omegas that appear to be a fifth the length of the station itself, the actual material value is probably pretty small. Throw in that it is decades old and appears poorly maintained (and had a ha...

frobisher, given that everyone in the universe knows where B5 is, you wouldn't have to detect it, you could just fly there. What I don't believe is the "too big to move" story. It's space and hyperspace, weight and size don't matter. All you need is to be able to overcome it's inertia. A squadron o...

I already agreed that using fighting moves for command doesn't make complete sense. But if you read my original post you'll see the same interface could logicaly be used with commands that would actually be LESS exausting that pressing buttons. (Snip) The only thing a conventionnal interface that c...
