Now, all silliness aside. The three systems will be incompatible for several reasons, Story wise it makes no sense, Rule while they aren't designed to play together and you get Earth Force Lasers cutting Constitution Class Cruisers in half on the first shot because of the Beam weapon rule. And last...

This is the odd duck out of the lot, I have to agree the Omega "destroyer"is a battleship of the line in every way, I just don't get why it's called a destroyer in the first place. (Yeah I know Star Wars  ) I would buy the redefinition of the term destroyer if the other races hadn't had destr...

I've always though that at least when it came to to the Earthforce ships there was at least a plausible progression in place (whether by accident or design on the developers parts...). Prior to the Minbari War they seem to rely primarily on a strong force of cruisers supported by a few dreadnoughts ...

It might be easier to start with the old 2nd Edition B5 rules and incorporating parts of the new rules (depending on how extensively this have changed).

I'll admit that whatever the explanation, I just don't like the Dilgar design (but that's just my personal opinion). On the AoG ships they look aggressive because everything is directed forwards, lots of guns, spikes, everything all pointed straight at you. Probably the same reason why I like there:...

I have to say I've never really liked that Dilgar design it just doesn't seem aggressive enough for the Dilgar (not to mention being mostly hollow), the fighter is ok but I definitely prefer the AoG Dilgar designs. Sierra seem to have had a thing for insubstantial ships the Dilgar, Abbai and Grome s...

I'm not entirely sure what you expect to come of this. As the game is no longer supported the stats aren't going to change, at least not officially. :? If you think that Shadow fighters are too weak then change them to something you think is better, there's even less stopping you from doing this now...

The Hermes is the Centaur-class Aircraft Carrier on the list since I believe she was the only ship of that type (even though she wasn't actually the same as the rest of the class, she was originally planned as one of them and still based on the same design) still in service in the 1980-1990 time per...

I should point out that that ship is actually the Kirishiac Lordship, the Thoughtforce is the giant caltrop. I believe Mongoose mixed the pictures up. I could accept the change over (the races were never identified in the show anyway so its all invented by AoG) if not for the fact that the Mongoose ...

Ah ....Sounds like the Devastator mini had an interesting history and explains why a few of the other ships in the range have a cylon look. If your interested in the background to the designs, background info and B5Wars SCSs are all still available at Todd's old site. http://ravensbranch.allen.com/...

Could even be a cylon warship. Funnily enough thats exactly what it was originally designed as... A whiles back Todd produced a whole series of B5Wars designs for the original series of BSG a number of which (Devastator included) have subsequently appeared in the Hydrodyne Aeronautics range. Indeed...

Since Sheridan never did the same suicidally insane thing twice (apart from jumping from a great height without a parachute), there need be no specific description about what is being done, but players are free to use their imaginations. :D In his defence both of those were done under the ten secon...

The "triangle thing" is called a triluminary, the Minbari had three of them. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triluminary Although thinking about it as one of them is presumably the one Sinclair takes back with him, there are only actually two and two of them are in fact the same one... Nick

On the Blue Star size thing as mentioned in the image shown the Blue Star is actually between the White Star and the camera and so appears larger. Its shown as being small enough for one man (Sheridan) to fly by himself and I think must have been able to fit in B5s landing bay (although I can't reme...

I thought it was that the White Stars were crewed by Rangers, and supported by Religious caste, because the Warrior caste wouldn't support the Rangers when Sinclair took over and allowed humans in to the ranks. In essence, not their true role but they filled the gap when needed. As I understand the...
