I think it's a neat idea, and one that has never crossed me before. First thing that springs to mind is kill markings for turrets, fighters and the like (And who's to say larger ships don't do 'em as well?). Indeed, this gives me some ideas for MTU... I don't think the fact that the enemy won't see ...

I've found this a problem as well. Often the PC's will be just loners with no ties anywhere what-so-ever (there was this PC who killed his guardians though, IIRC...). I noticed that this makes PC's rather bland, and therefore I have asked the players in my current SST game to actually come up with s...

Ah, cyberpunk, lovely! For me, cyberpunk isn't ovely sci-fi. Think Neuromancer by William Gibson and you're not far off. The way hacking is conducted in said book would be neat as well, not some present-day stuff with the guys sitting in front of screens 8) Another thing to maybe think about would b...

Ah, that's kinda sad. Was hoping for them to pick it up again, is about the only d20 game I ever liked...

Oh well, I suppose I'll have to get my hands to do some houseruling then

The future of the SST RPG?

A few days back I found my copy of the SST RPG core book while going through my old gaming stuff, and upon remembering it had only ever been played once I tried to get a group togheter again. So far it looks good, I did some digging on here and found the links by LBH (many thanks for those), but als...

Looking neat! You might wanna try drybrushing or inking the wire with some rust-ish colour, has worked for me on various stuff in the past. Looking good none the less!

Looking good, both the rules and thepics. May I ask what are you using to base them? Is it something you've bought or made yourself? And what do you plan on using to represent the barbed wire?

Sweet pics if I may say so. Are those 28mm minis? Nice paintjob anyways. Now, where's the battle report?

That's true, I did just check out Caesar WWII Germans (winter gear) so I might have gotten a tad of tunnel vision there.

And a shatterbug would be... what exactly? :?

Also, I don't think there are overly many desert yellow tanks around. The ones I've seen are mostly painted for woodland or winter

Yeah, they do look good. A tad more expensive than Drum & Flag though, at least when ordering one-off packs. Thanks anyway though :D

Jo, det är ju en fördel med att vara med i EU :P

Well, in real life Nebelwerfer crews would take cover some 5 meters from the luanchers as they fired as well. To put it this way, it's a game and no simulation. Anyway, if a Nebelwerfer crew would want to shoot themselves all they have to do is point the darn thing straight up and hope it doesn't de...

Aye, it has been indeed. Kinda lost interest after the announcment of no more minis. Got back and I find World at War  So once my economy allows I'll get the rulebook and start building myself an 1/72 scale Russian and German west fron army (maybe early war germans though, who knows?). And si...

However there is this one thing, where are the Swedes?

Ah, many thanks Jay! Not too price either, and being in the EU customs won't be a problem :D

Also, while plasticsoldierreview is great, they only seem to review infantry minis. Is there any similar site that reviews tank kits as well? Thanks in advance, once more!

[WaW] Finding 1/72 scale minis?

Well, hello all and everyone. Long time no see and all that, huh? Anyways, I noticed the WaW edition to BF: Evo and it brought back memories of when me and my mates played with 1/72 scale WWII minis. We had the most unbalanced rules ever, but we had a blast. Now those days are long gone past and the...
