I have both Dragon Pass(Chaosium boxed version and Nomad Gods(French version) I would have loved to have seen master of Luck and Death. For a second age board game not sure how that would work as the two Empires did not go head to head much. But something based around the siege of the Clanking City ...

Since I would guess a Timmit language would also include a olfactory elements would they be able to learn Auld wyrmish at a higher level? In my game I might add the Dragonnewts that speak to other races are limited to a few select individuals and it is often considered a punishment for wrong actions .

Ii read some where there a few who have had their tongue altered so as to be able to speak other languages.
But could a Dragonnewt and Timmit learn each other language since I would guess Timmits , like most insects, would rely as much as on scent as sound to communicate.

It's a very soft metal so doesn't clank like normal armor. Also, only Uz wear lead armor. Uz iz strong.

Yes Uz is strong. And they are very strong if you get downwind of them.

Elder Secrets had a break down of the magical effect, but I seem to misplaced my copy ,but the above seems correct.
Also if i remember right Bashing weapons made of lead dealt more damage.
Tin the metal for air in OLD TIME runequest I don't think ever had any advantage.

Hi, If you ever need miniatures for an RQ Game, remember that the Unspoken Word has its Paper Wars CD, with a plethora of Gloranthan Characters. We plan to release this on Drive Thru in the near future. Another alternative is these great figures, which I use a lot for my other games... http://www.g...

One big difference between your average D&D and Runequest game is also what the player start with. In D&D most players Start with at least Chain armor if not Plate and a horse ,unless their class cannot wear heavy armor. Not so in Runequest games . Its not unusual to see even experienced adventurers...

I think many if not all cults should have access to runes beside the cult runes > I mention Zorak Zoran and the fire rune ear liar. Also Waha defeated Oakfed and again should have the fire rune while its mentioned that Orlanth defeated all the other elements. Not to mention the Runes of allied Cults...

If you are looking at play balance then you should look at how hard for A Spirit practitioner to get a charm. 100 silver and a point of power and you have your charm , which works like a rune for game purpose.

In my game , each cult has access to limited number of their God's Runes and they are given out as rewards for doing quest and mission for the Cult. Performing quest and missions for friendly Cults can also result in a gift of a rune. But the deed has to be more difficult/important then your own cul...

Count me among those who prefer the Big Glorantha . I tend to take the official scales and triple them. Otherwise the mighty EWF and later Lunar Empire is about the size of England.

I have so far found ONE miniature that I think make a fairly good Wind child. Reaper's Lofttis ,male Angel might be a little big but otherwise I think does well. Some of their succubus figure might work if I can find another figure to swap the wings out. And their Fatima figure ,Nef /cleric might wo...

Wind Children/Myyrrhn miniatures

Does anyone know if there is a passable figure that could be used for either a Wind Child or a Myyrrhn on the market?
Wind children are stating to play a large roll in my game and nearest thing I can find to them are a few Angel figures that I dont really care for.

Excellent news. Though it is the last book of the series on the major Elder Race, I hope the Durulz book will open the way to some sourcebooks on the lesser Elder race. Well the Broo could use a book of their own . along with the Timmints , they are an important group in the second age And although...

I do use and like the book , although you at times have to be careful about introducing some of the more powerful spells into a game as to not upset balance. I think an index that would let you know which spell you can learn by rune would be nice as its a pain for a character to go through the book ...
