At the end of April you left a bit of a teaser image on the Kickstarter page of a 28mm Traveller miniature. Will we be getting an update on Traveller miniatures any time soon? Is this something definitely in the works?
In the works. As for more previews... keep your eyes peeled :)

Re: Welcome to the Open Playtest (start here)

Can you make the ranges divisible by 4. This way when the ranges are quartered or halved they do not have fraction of an inch or centimeter. this a more tidy for Point Blank range, etc. We do have this system originally, but the ranges have all been changed to match real world data. Just for fun - ...

Re: VAS 2

Is there some "-ish" we should be looking for? I don't think so - we have the three books pretty much complete at the moment (the biggest thing missing are more historical scenarios, but we are cranking through those, and we have yet to decide whether the Soviet fleet will be making an appearance)....

Re: VAS 2

A quick read-through of the posts should make it clear that the rules are no more complete than the line of miniatures. Umm... We haven't posted the full rulebooks yet (of which there will be three in the set, all three almost complete - need to work on Coastal Invasions, the odd background piece, ...

Re: Live Traveller Q&A?

Any preference for Saturday or Sunday (likely evening GMT to give everyone a fighting chance of getting on board)?

Also, start preparing questions :)

Re: Live Traveller Q&A?

I am thinking of making it completely open. Run for an hour or two (I have some pretty visuals planned :)) so people can drop in/drop out as they see fit, and you are welcome to ask any Traveller/Mongoose-related question.

Live Traveller Q&A?

Greetings, fellow Travellers!

We have been thinking about conducting a live Traveller Q&A in the near future, possibly using something like Twitch.

Would this be something anyone would be interested in?

Re: Victory at Sea Playtesting - Basic Rules

hummmm, Nelson, Lion and N3 Classes are still over powerfull, is it a good idea to increase their armour to 7+ ? Remember, ships with small guns not gathered into turrets don't have the +1 to damage at long range, as far as they can shot at this range. Actually, we have just added a rule that lets ...

Hmm. The thing is even the biggest armored battleships were still vulnerable to shots on the deck. I think keeping armor at 6 works well for me.
Doesn't the plunging fire rule take care of that..?

Re: Victory at Sea Playtesting - Basic Rules

Actually, while I have you chaps... We are giving some serious thought to allowing 7+ armour for the very toughest ships, which will effectively make them immune to small guns (kinda the point of battleships...) by rejigging our armour formulae. If you want to give the following a whirl, I would be ...
