Re: State of the Mongoose 2018

Does Aliens v1 have a "new" sector with official UWP data? One for the K'Kree. No, the Alien books concentrate on characters, equipment, vehicles and ships - basically, everything you need to get them into your campaign wherever it is set. We will be visiting new sectors though. You're doing a Dene...

Re: State of the Mongoose 2018

Will the K'kree (and others) be integrated into the character generation software from RPGSuite also? Their licence certainly allows it. Regarding the Vanguard miniatures game, the major issue with the last campaign was that the buy-in was limited to a full set only, which was a high price-mark for...

Re: State of the Mongoose 2018

Are the new alien volumes going to lift heavily from the older (fantastic) Third Imperium hardback alien modules? I realise the races and info about them is the same in any edition, but how much new material will the new volumes contain? The original premise of these books, as discussed with Travel...

WHEN your site will take €uros? This week? This month? This year? Really great news, however!
Let's get the new web site up and running first (should be in just a few days), and then we will see where we are with Euros!

Apologies for the delay on the PDF - there has been a server issue, but I am hoping to resolve it today.

When do you expect to see Aliens of Chartered Space vol 1 available for preorder?
PDF edition in a month or two, printed about 3 months after that.

I'd hoped to hear about the Traveller miniature game.
Hasn't gone away, but we need to do a few other projects first!

Might be finishing it over the weekend - the last component slotted into place yesterday,so I just need to sit down and complete it.

January Playtest

Just in time for the weekend - the January Playtest Pack.

This is a big 'un, so I will let the Playtest Pack doc speak for itself - suffice to say, new ships and lots of scenarios!

I don't think people get the concept of a cheap but old vehicle. Han and Chewy spent decades repairing and modifying the Falcon and STILL had to deal with its foibles.
This.

We were very much thinking of the Falcon when we tackled these rules.

Re: High and Dry - Project Steel?

A new edition of Project Steel is indeed on the cards, though there are some things to sort out with it that makes it lower in priority than some other projects.

We really want to return to this though (and hopefully add related adventures that would turn it into a trilogy), as it is a good 'un!

Re: The Traveller Companion - PDF & Pre-Order

Please be aware that these comments are not official, and this is an area where the referee can use his own judgement, as befits his campaign. This is just what i would do if it happened on my gaming table right now. And is certainly subject to me changing my mind! 1. The normal amount of fuel is us...

Hmmm ... January is half over and still no word about the imminent release of VaS2. I think we're back to "ish"territory.
Preparing a new update right now which, I sincerely hope, will be knocking peoples' socks off. Should appear a little later this week or next.

Those were fixed - just checked the file again, in case I went mad the first time.

I have re-uploaded it to our site. Could you try again, please?

Thanks, I just did again -- I searched for one of the errors pointed out above (page 140: 100-diamter limit) and it still appears.
Try another - that was not an error, and was answered with the reasons why just a few posts above :)

I purchased the PDF direct from the Mongoose website rather than via drivethrurpg and just re-downloaded it, but it doesn't seem to be an updated version.
Can you have another go? I uploaded that myself :)

Re: The Traveller Companion - PDF & Pre-Order

Rapid Firing: Bear in mind that these rules are designed to fit any campaign, and do not link solely to the CSC (and we did not want to illustrate the rule with every weapon fitting into every category). It comes down tot he individual referee to play with, but I would advocate anything above Auto 6...
