Re: High and Dry - Project Steel?

A new edition of Project Steel is indeed on the cards, though there are some things to sort out with it that makes it lower in priority than some other projects.

We really want to return to this though (and hopefully add related adventures that would turn it into a trilogy), as it is a good 'un!

Re: The Traveller Companion - PDF & Pre-Order

Please be aware that these comments are not official, and this is an area where the referee can use his own judgement, as befits his campaign. This is just what i would do if it happened on my gaming table right now. And is certainly subject to me changing my mind! 1. The normal amount of fuel is us...

Hmmm ... January is half over and still no word about the imminent release of VaS2. I think we're back to "ish"territory.
Preparing a new update right now which, I sincerely hope, will be knocking peoples' socks off. Should appear a little later this week or next.

Re: The Traveller Companion - PDF & Pre-Order

Those were fixed - just checked the file again, in case I went mad the first time.

I have re-uploaded it to our site. Could you try again, please?

Thanks, I just did again -- I searched for one of the errors pointed out above (page 140: 100-diamter limit) and it still appears.
Try another - that was not an error, and was answered with the reasons why just a few posts above :)

I purchased the PDF direct from the Mongoose website rather than via drivethrurpg and just re-downloaded it, but it doesn't seem to be an updated version.
Can you have another go? I uploaded that myself :)

Re: The Traveller Companion - PDF & Pre-Order

Rapid Firing: Bear in mind that these rules are designed to fit any campaign, and do not link solely to the CSC (and we did not want to illustrate the rule with every weapon fitting into every category). It comes down tot he individual referee to play with, but I would advocate anything above Auto 6...

Re: The Traveller Companion - PDF & Pre-Order

I will look forward to it - be aware though that some of those things you mentioned are more suitable for answer here than in the actual book, and some things open the door to a much wider subject than can/should be dealt with here or in the Companion. For example, I cannot think of a reason why the...

Re: Drinax - Galoof Deck Plans not right

Quick note here regarding vertical height on this ship - we don't include the fuel decks in the plans (because they are pretty boring to look at, and just what the hell are Travellers doing traipsing inside one of those...). They are factored into the design but not drawn.

I so agree. So much of the work is done, and even splitting it into two volumes (Spinward and Trailing?) would be great.

Re: errata book?

hi guys, We certainly don't not want to do such a thing ourselves (?), and we do not want to abdicate our own responsibilities... but this is a fairly awesome idea that has all sorts of potential. You can have an 'official' section (whatever that really means in a modern RPG...) but also room for pe...

Do you know if the preorders will be mailed before Hard Brexit Day (29 March)?
Probably not - however, we are not expecting too many issues to our own operations with regards to shipping (so long as truck tailbacks do not occur, but we still don't really know what is happening yet...)

Re: The Traveller Companion - PDF & Pre-Order

Matt, When do you plan on starting the dead-tree version of the book? Is there going to be some time between pdf and print so that errors and such can be caught? Yes, the printed edition will be sent off in January, so we have 2-3 weeks to catch any issues. Printing will likely take 3-ish months af...
