Re: Mongoose Publishing and Amazon UK IT FR DE ES

In a nutshell, it is very expensive for us. What about releasing Print-On-Demand books through Amazon then? Some time ago, Steve Jackson Games started doing this with great success/sales (yep, new SJG customer here  ), and I've noticed you DO have a few POD books * on sale. Is Amazon "very ex...

There are a total of two couples in the campaign (according to my research)
The same-sex marriage custom is also present in Treasure Ship, see page 68 (Cargo Chief Niven and his ex-husbands).
In addition, you can say The Game of Sun & Shadow is just Krond's way to marry Eridani.

In one of the later Pirates adventures (The Vorito Gambit), Harrick presents the travelers with a gift/bribe of a suit of battledress. I forget the exact circumstances.
Corrected.
But Lord Wrax offers the best gift/bribe, in my opinion.

There will be another character...
Try an Aslan from the Hierate. It's true I have a soft spot for honor-driven warriors with more ranks in Melee (Natural) than Tolerance (yeah, played too many D&D games... ), but having an allied Aslan in the party WILL be useful, in my experience.

Re: [Drinax] Where is the Queen?

But where are the mothers? Being the mother of the heir is a powerful position, if not formal, then at least informal. The quickest option is turning lady Hil (already an influential noble and a Rao supporter) into the mother of princess Rao. I keep thinking Harrick and Rao have different mothers (...

Re: [Drinax] Where is the Queen?

The Sindalian (and Drinaxian) rulers are clearly autocratic in nature, and an autocrat rules alone without a partner. Therefore, Oleb had consorts*, NOT queens, and if one of the PCs gets to marry princess Rao, he's just another consort, NOT the ruler of Drinax. *Harrick is aged 54 and Rao is 28, I ...

A GM I know says that Oleb trusts The Pcs too much. (...) So does Oleb trust them too much King Oleb is a man of great passions – and great sorrows, when a black mood takes him. He clearly has a death wish, between his chosen sport and his decision to gamble his entire kingdom on a bunch of ...

Re: Tell me what you want.

I'm also pondering some other ideas. One is a book of additional starships suitable for adventures one way or another. There are various ways to approach this, so I'm fishing for thoughts. If you do this, please insert a few Aslan capital ships for Trojan Reach/Drinax players. "The Eikhoifiruah, an...

Re: [Drinax] What do the people on the floating palace do?

That leaves 7,000 people to do other things. Does anyone know if The Drinaxian Companion has information on the Drinaxian solar system? Maybe King Oleb has established mining colonies on asteroids to alleviate population pressure. And I suppose the 'Pirates of Drinax' have recruited at least a few ...

Besides, I'd have thought players would prefer to have new adventures rather than another reskin of that (...) game.
Not here, I want to see adventures located in a new setting, and NOT in the Third Empire. The Trojan Reach is OK to me.

Yeah, Ihatei! includes a few mistakes (the missing Vespexers, the unexistent gas giant Bellopho and the not-really-waterworlds Keaih and Pourne come to my mind right now). Bad editing, I suppose.

Maybe the giant psychic whales don't care about petty human interests, in their alien way. Therefore, you *can* be a collector of aslan artifacts in Dolberg, among other things: "GeDeCo’s agents (and NOT the psychic whales) control the government of Dolberg" (Pirates of Drinax, book 1, p. 71), for e...

The fifth planet in the Apsho/Arunisiir system is Errat (D318244-8, apparently a frozen rockball with an unusual name), but I can't find nothing else in this book or elsewhere.
Is this a planetary errata, a colony of Bizarro's Htrae :P , or what?

Re: Pirates of Drinax - GMs thread

More likely the author saw that "A" for the atmosphere and mistook it for an "A" hydrographics percentage. Or maybe he mistook the 'FL' (Fluid) trade code for the 'WA' (Water World) code instead. If you go to page 92, you find this: "Toiho intends to win glory outside the Hierate, but has not yet d...

...Recently heard someone pronounce it "Drin-ax" with a short 'i'... This, I say. But I'm from Italy...
