I’d like to see one system for each race give the amount of detail Theev was in the Drinax PDFs. Tyokh for the Aslan etc. Doesn’t have to be a book entry but PDF support material would be very useful.

I didn’t even see it had a highport. If so then I’d have it be a control point for the weather control systems and that link up with those on the ground to create the entry tunnel. I’d also have it be fairly small as Treasure Ship mentions a planetary landing and not a highport docking.

I think it has to be the alien books for me. Players are able to roll up an Aslan or Vargyr in the core book but have little to draw upon about their society etc. Drinax did a great job with expanding the Aslan but all those other aliens, including the human offshoots are little more than names if y...

I love what you’ve done with 2nd Edition. The difference between the two version of Drinax is incredible and while I’m looking forward to more 2e stuff there are a few 1e books that would prove useful if only for the world building. I also have it that the “just over a thousand” love in the deepest part of the settlement to prevent exposure to atmosphe. The security are also part of the “thousand” along with their families so the whole section is pretty self contained. It’s also a tool to keep the security loyal as being fired ...

Ive had transponders be a major thing so that a ship can usually be identified by that alone. it is possible to switch them off but it immediately alerts nearby ships that pick them up on sensors that they are up to no good. My group put the crew in low berths for a few weeks so the story didn’t get out of the Treasure ship disappearing then distributed them in small groups on several worlds. As no one saw them activate the ko gas the crew assume they were deposited on a world too and have yet to be found.

My group also captured the Martin II by using tranquilliser gas brought from a scientist on tech worldview running cloning experiments. Treasure Ship mentions several items that if stilenare not traceable and several ones that need to be fenced. The fenced stuff tends to be hi tech stuff that has atomic level identification but that could be added to any manufactured goods causing an unknown upset unless they check it before selling...

I allowed my players carry whatever they wanted on Theev but the Widows warm them that any breach would’ve dealt with swiftly. They stuck to using pistols and rifles in the fights they go into there.

I could see it definitely being tailored to fit giving a penalty until it’s modified. As a side note my players disabled the armory and marine quarters doors so they were held captive until the pumped knock out gas’s through the air supply. They wanted to avoid a lot of battledressed marines too b

If youve not seen the reach adventure 2: theories of everything it gives a full science crew on a lab ship with their squabbles and egos. Their mission is fairly straight forward but can easily be built upon by side ad entities in the planets they travel to.

Being honest here, but that sounds like a nightmare. If someone joins my game then I’d expect them to use my rules whether they are official or house rules and someone who would find it a “hassle” would not be someone I’d look for. I’d expect as much of I joined a game.
