When the Drinax pdf is released will there be a print copy pre-order immediately available for the usual "order the print copy and get the pdf for free" deal?
If there is, Mongoose will have my money... it's nearly payday. :-)

Re: Great Rift Box Set Kickstarter - July 6th

I also looking forward to seeing what this offers.

I recently bought the 3rd Imperium books - Reft Sector and Deneb Sector. How much of these are recycled into this product and will the new box set offer anything new over and above these existing books?

Re: Great Rift Box Set Kickstarter - July 6th

Is this going to be a nice straightforward easy choice kickstarter, or one of those with a dozen pledge levels, a thousand addons, exclusives etc etc?

Cool. Is this one going to go up in your own ebooks section to buy?

Re: How old are we?

Is it also showing the age of forum users. Those of us that learned to communicate online with things like Usenet still gravitate towards forums. I wonder how this same survey would do in a facebook group. Actually, will pen and paper RPGs have a trend to miss a decade or two? Those that are around ...

[Newbie Question] Vehicle Damage

Hi again, I'm still feeling like a noob as I've yet to play. I'm reading and re-reading sections of rules as well as the Third Imperium info so I feel like I know what I'm doing when my group start playing. Having just built a vehicle (the snow vehicle I asked about in a different thread), I was won...

It has indeed been updated!
Is this the drivethrurpg version? The one on the Mongoose download site seems to have identical stats for Poni/Horse still.

Re: Referee's Briefing 6: Garden Worlds

Did the pdf get the poni update or has this gone to a backburner? Also, from a noob to Traveller's point of view, the Chamax didn't look particularly scary. The problem was I missed the line about them being about the size of a great dane. This alters things a little and I guess makes it closer to '...

Re: Simple rules clarification

Similarly, if you have a 10-term character who has "secondary" skills which are better than someone else's defining ability, there's going to be problems with imbalance making one player feel like they're a fifth wheel. Maybe, depends on the players this might not even be an issue. I think that wou...

Thanks for that. Very similar to how I was going to build it.

The description needs to be improved. But it'll do for the adventure I'll run.

Vehicle Handbook - Snow Mobile

I have an adventure planned where the four Travellers hire/buy these vehicles to cross a snowy planet. (The pic isn't mine, I found it on the web) http://i1295.photobucket.com/albums/b633/Gimgamgoo/Random%20Pics/Snowmobile_zpst6rpc4xi.jpg Trying to design it using the vehicle handbook has proven to ...

Do you plan on releasing any more of the "Foreven Worlds: _______ subsector" supplements to add to the existing four?

Re: Reach Adventure 3: The Calixcuel Incident

The blurb sets The Calixcuel Incident in an underwater city.
Does this follow on from the previous two published Reach adventures and set nearby?
Which planet? - I'd like to have my players think they planned on heading that way anyway.

Computer Naming

Hi folks. My first post here, so a quick introduction... I'm old enough to have been playing (DM/ref'ing) RPGs since the early 80's. Mostly (A)D&D but a few others along the way. I did have a box set of GDW traveller and Mega traveller back in the 80's as well, but we never played it enough to reall...
