Looking good

I just bought the Conan book.
I admit that i initially bought because it was mentioned over on the TROS forums. Reading through it i'm very impressed.
I will be converting to TROS for a new game to start this week because it is a really cool setting :)

Careers night at the academy was an interesting experience for all. The newly founded group needed to make some very important life altering decisions. They decided to take the plunge and start their own Merc company. This was where they signed their life away, thats right they got a bank loan. They...

Regulators

Hey people, I told some of you that i would write a little about how our group runs and the set up etc, so I decided to start with our new game which had its debut last weekend. The game starts at the Mek Officer academy in Seoul. Rick Masters the rich kid Scout with a gambling problem is called int...

My understanding of the piloting roll is that you don't need to make them for everyday flying but for more difficult actions such as acrobatics and dogfighting. Coming from someone with their pilots license at 140kph it is quite easy to control unless you start actually having to do things that migh...

TTC

I have been going over the TTC rules and i finally worked out what is supposed to be going on... I know some people will look at me and say 'how could you not work that out' but here is what i have come up with. For TTC of 1-10 days it works perfectly 1.(TTC-1) Taking Melechi's example of a TTC of 2...

Yeah i have found electronic warfare a tad bit confusing. I personally prefer a scout mek with good scanning equipment over a full blown comms mek. Though on the other hand the theory of having a mek that helps mask your unit as you are going into combat is good. Not to mention the ability to interc...

I don't really have a problem with multiplying the mission fee by the number of war mek pilots. Regardless of which system you use, as a mek pilot you will always carefully consider firing those lancer missles. Mission fees of around $500k a mission are alot better than what we were using initially....
