Re: Judges Handbook - where's Ex-Div?
Exorcism Division was disbanded in MC1 quite some time ago. Have not seen it reestablished recently, although it is possible I missed something. All now Psi-Div. The reason given was the existance of an exorcism division increased the numbers of citizens willing to take a punt in demonology, increas...

Personally I prefer the subtler storylines to the explosive epics. The recent Sinfield one was excellent. The Pit, again, was great. Origins was interesting. The Frendz taking over was brilliant, but that is now quite some time ago. Ditto Necropolis (or even more so). Story lines like Inferno and th...

Sad to hear that Signs and Portents is on hiatus – not least because I had a folder full of submission pitches for it ready to rock and roll. I know Mongoose have promised some support via the website (which is great news), so I was wondering if it’s worth getting in touch about things I was planni...

Re: Offlining S&P
93 will be the last for a while. Barring something really unexpected happening.Deleriad wrote:So, as it says in the new S&P, S&P is going away for a while. Does this mean S&P 93 is the last one until next year or will there be more before it retires to its secret lair?

Re: robot rules
The type 3 frame has 10 slots-but arms cost 4 slots, and legs 4 slots also-doesnt leave much for upgrades. or do the arm and legs add to the frame? I would have thought arms and legs came with the frame? maybe a few sample robots with cost would help? Size 2 arms/legs would be quite acceptable for ...

It is quite acceptable for a Robot to carry a piece of equipment the same way a human might. So a grav belt, for example, could be worn by the robot. A gun can be carried in its arms. And both cases would take up no slots. It is acceptable to design a robot with (say) a small arm inbuilt into one of...

Re: Monkey Business
[quote="Shokker"]The word on the slab is that the forthcoming Signs and Portents 91 is to include the Judge Dredd scenario Monkey Business - [blurb] A gang of juves are causing trouble (don't they always). Now PSU has followed them into a vid arcade and the Judges need to find and arrest the trouble...

Feedback for Issue 90
As always I crave feedback. It lets me know if I am including material in the magazine people want to see.
I may use any feedback here in future issues (as a kind of letters page...)
The magazine should become available on Tuesday, the 1st of March.

Lost Wolf
As discussed on the Signs and Portents Magazine group on Facebook. From May Signs and Portents will feature a series of adventures for the Lone Wolf game. Named 'Lost Wolf' these scenarios will be playable singly or as part of a longer campaign. These scenarios will appear every two months until the...

S&P caters for games produced by Mongoose Publishing and our publishing partners. At the moment the core fantasy games are Earthdawn (from Redbrick), RuneQuest and Lone Wolf (from Mongoose). None of these are specifically Sword and Sorcery, although the RQ rules can support S&S very well, and if a s...
