Wow, Omaha, you sure know how to make a first impression. I have no dog in this fight; I come here because I am a huge Conan fan. I've never watched Babylon 5 or played the game. But after seeing several of JMS's posts, yours, and Matthew's on this subject on this site and others, I've got to say JM...

I'm 38. I also started with the blue D&D box around 1979 or 1980. It was Christmas of 7th grade, and my twin sister got it as a gift and I took it from her almost as soon as she unwrapped it. I've been playing rpgs since then and my sister, to my knowledge, never played once. To this day I wonder wh...

I checked barnesandnoble.com and amazon, and both sites say there is a February 2006 release, but neither has a copy. Amazon had a picture of the cover art, though, and it looks really good! I'm looking forward to picking up a copy.

Sorry if these questions sound stupid, this is a lot to digest for someone who hasn't been around RPGs for so long... You started around the same time I did, and I can tell you your questions are not stupid for someone just getting back into the game. If you haven't looked at the latest inca...

It has really only been in the last 50 years or so that historians have fully realized the modern origins of the nation-state. Which is exactly why I give REH and others a break on this; I certainly can't hold him accountable for not having a doctorate in political science when he sat down to creat...

It looks interesting. Can anyone tell me what the cost is to play in a play by mail? The website didn't really have any prices, as far as I can tell. I've never done it before and since my time to play games anymore is severely limited, it may be an option I would like to look into.

Yeah, with an incredibly stupid title like, "Apes of Wrath".

The cover looks great! It's about as close in style to the old Frazetta covers that I've seen yet for the rpg. It definitely evokes the Conan aura for me.

it seems to be common among conan fans that the books grabbed them when growning up and we have just been waiting for a game to come along to do it justice 8) Exactly! I used to get so frustrated with the old Conan D&D modules; they just didn't do the setting justice. Since I lived in the boondocks...

Hey, thanks! I've lurked on these boards from time to time, since the game came out. I've been a REH fan since 9th grade when I checked out "Conan the Conqueror" from my High School library.

Wow! Talk about synchronicity. I was just putzing around the Nyambe site and found the reference to Inaro. Sounded interesting so I looked up some more and really liked it. Tracked down some titles that I'll look for at my used book store or order it on line if they don't have it. Then I come here a...
