Hi guys, it's actually a little worse than you realize. After Lt got out of the hospital he suffered the loss of his mother. Last I heard from him he didn't know why the site was down. Being the "other" mod I did try to contact the server admin, but never got a response.

Today's the day...
If I'm not mistaken today is the last day for the SST forum before it runs head-long into oblivion, so I just wanted to say it's been fun guys. Thanks for the ride!

I'm glad someone started this. MGP staff, is there anyway to make this one particular thread permanant? I think it would be appreciated. So this is going to be long but stick with me. I bought the very first box off the truck (literally) the day this game hit shelves. My friend owns a game store and...

So your luck hasn't cleared up much then? I'm really sorry to hear that. It's kind of funny to say this (especially given my relative inactivity here of late), because I don't actually tend to spend a lot of time on-line, but I actually do feel like I've met some cool friends on here and lately the ...

I was just wondering the same thing Max. I know there's a lot of people who hate the "collectable" stuff, but will play a "war game" if it's NON COLLECTABLE (ala AT-43), and labeled w/the latest buzz term (Interactive Destruction Simulation...etc.LOL). It does seem though, like a lot of people have ...

'sup Max, Yes, that is PA. Don't worry about the spelling. Most of the kids with a Pennsylvanian education can't get it right! LOL Actually, Lt. was correct in that I was just trying to point out the differences from state to state. Honestly though, California does tend to run contrary to the rest o...

Unfortunately, you can't judge the state of US gaming by what's happening in California. Where I am right now nobody even carries Warmachine or FoW anymore, and the handfull of stores that have 40K can't give the stuff away (two 40K stores went under last year). There's actually a store located 50 f...

"What makes any hobby good value is the amount of time you spend on it, if you don't have to paint anything or stick anything together that part of the value equation is lost. Thereby making it more expensive immediately! " That is a very valid, insightful point IMO. I'm just afraid that not enough ...
