I attended Origins where I participated in the Battlefield Evolution tournament on Friday. I had a great time, losing in my first round but winning my next two games. :) Mongoose was selling assorted single figures for $2.00 each. They went fast, but I managed to pick up a couple of PLA infantry cor...

I agree with many of the criticisms about BFE, and I think the models are moderately overpriced. Despite that, I collect the models and I've spent way more money on them than I should have, mainly because I'm fortunate enough to be able to afford it, and because I really like the game. My local FLGS...

The Bookery in Fairborn, OH had 2 each of the wave 3 releases when I stopped in today (15 June). I grabbed the PLA command squad/FAV and SAS.

When I stopped by on Saturday, one of my local shops had one box each of the Wave 3 models, but they were for display only - not for sale. They were hoping to receive a shipment of them by the end of this week. I hope so, 'cause I really want to get my hands on the PLA command section and FAV! :)

I finally got my copy yesterday, and I'm satisfied with it. The binding looks okay to me, so I just hope it holds together. So far so good. As far as content, I am also generally satisfied. The air rules and rules for structures look fine to me, and some of the advanced rules look interesting althou...

I grabbed it, along with some 1/144 WWII aircraft. Those little mini planes are nicely painted and they don't take up much space. Also, I can use them with my 15mm WWII games. :) Let me guess. They are the "Dogfight" series with a P-51, Fw-190, Hellcat and Ki-84 Hayate, right? That's exactly...

All I could find was the pack with a dark green little bird(not the US one), and a blue camo hummer with a TOW. Not too keen on the hummer, but hey. Yeah, that's all I was able to find until today. I'm not sure of the nationality of the Little Bird that comes with the bright blue Hummer, but that's...

I think Matchbox cars are 1/87. I'm not 100% certain, though.

Yeah, 1/72 is a good match.

 That reminds me, I have a 1/72 Eurofighter that I was using as my proxy SST TAC Fighter. I need to finish it up so I can use it for BF:Evo.

I wish my local retailers would follow suit and lower their prices on the plastics. I would probably buy some if they did.

You guys that have local brick and mortar stores don't really realize what you have. We don't have one within 150 miles that is worth anything. My post promoring ERH wasn't meant to drive away business from a local shop, I encourage you to buy from there, because that is how gaming will continue. S...
